Rameshwaram temple is 2 kms away from the property and also away from city in a remote place.I had a stay just for a night.Staff at the hotel are fairly good, but the food options at the hotel are not many.As the place is closer to temples and the rituals and aartis goes on in the night and one cannot get sound sleep.Nothing has to blammed for the same.Hotel can be recommended to family visitors.
Hotel was excellent.
May we we should have not expected too much. The facilities are basic and considering that one goes to Rameshwaram with the main objective of offering prayers at the temple, the hotel is not all that bad.
You are committed morning breakfast complement, but they charged.

After we were done with our darshan and out little wandering stunt at the Pamban Beach - we were in dire hunt of a restaurant that could serve us lunch at around 12-ish. And finally Hotel Royal Park Plaza came to our rescue. It is a hotel with an in house restaurant. The interiors were quite traditional, The Ram-Sita statues with the Shiv linga - the story of the foundation of Rameswaram. There were the lamps placed beautifully in the reception with flower decoration. The wall bore a painting from a courtroom - with dancers and musician. The restaurant houses about 8-10 tables. There was a beautiful aquarium - always happens to cheers me up. The interiors have been done in shades of blue - dimly lighted and comfortable. I loved the wooden textured blinds on the windows. We had fun-time clicking quite a number of pictures here. :) They were still setting up for the buffet, yet we ordered for the Thali. They catered well. It was the typical South Indian thali with items like the ALU SABJI,PONGAL,RASAM,SAMBHAR, PAPAD,BOWL FULL OF RICE,PAYASAM, PARATHA,CURD. For me the food tasted about so-so and quite okay-ish type only. The major drawback being salt missing in almost every dish. It made eating take all the more effort. I would say for the food that was served - the thali was damn expensive. ~Bon Appetit!!
Check-in was quick and the room was comfortably large and with modern A/C unit. Staff were friendly and helpful with their advice. Breakfast comes with the room and is about average. Food is not their strong point, so be warned. The bathroom had a smell probably from a dirty drain. Apart from that it's absolutely what was needed from a budget hotel for a night.
This is a good hotel at the price level. Stayed over there on 31 Dec to 2 Jan. The location is pretty great with plenty of free car parking. The only catch is that you have to take an auto to reach anywhere in Rameshwaram, unless you want to risk scratches on your car in the narrow streets. The hotel serves good breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner as well.
Hotel is haunted. Requested for another room but hotel staff not interested in exchange. Breakfast limited menu. Lunch only have thali meals no other choice. Wi-Fi only available in reception and dining area. Shortage of staff working.
We stayed in this hotel for one night during visit to Rameshwaram. This is good hotel at the outskirts of Rameshwaram. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is Courteous. No great views from hotel. Menu in restaurant is limited. Overall hotel is good to stay.
