We had a great stay in this hotel. Our deluxe room was well maintained. The room service were very active, even the food served was up to mark. This is an above average property.
It is an excellent hotel amidst the Kumaon hills. An ideal place for a cool holiday. The service of the hotel is excellent and the quality of the food is such that you may bite your own finger, we over ate there. The hotel has a excellent tracking field on the hills which was a great fun. The hot water is still as per the old system of fire heated which off course has a limitation as the hot water is not 24hrs but no it is provided adequately during the day so NO PROBLEM. Our greatest regret was we should have spend one more day here rather than in Nanital. Me and my wife give 100% recommendation to this hotel.
Hotel was decent. No complaints.
The hotel location is perfect for nature lovers. Excellent view of range of mountains. The hotel staff were very courteous and house keeping was reasonably good. Rooms are with wooden flooring and bathrooms are OK and there is a room for improvement in it. They should provide foot mats and slippers in rooms(suggestion). Room service is good and food is excellent. The ambiance of hotel is excellent. Overall it is worth for money. I recommend to stay here for nature lovers.
Room was of average standards. I did not have any complaints during my stay. Staff were cooperative. I would prefer more cleanliness in the rooms. But this hotel was the best in that locality so I do not mind recommending it to my friends and family members.

very good hotel outside of Ranikhet it's about 90 years old well-maintained property. so many antic pieces in the hotel. staff is very good and the food is also good. no, any public interested place in town. the only military museum is must watch.
A great hotel amidst the wilderness. Amazing property to unwind and forget the world. Plus a great bunch of guys. If you happen to be in Ranikhet, there is no better place than this to stay. A special mention of the restaurant staff - ever ready to rustle up what ever you ask for.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Was allotted the cottage furthest away from reception. No reason given. The cottage is spacious and has connecting doors to the next cottage. Room was clean and there was a heater provided. Shower pressure adequate but hot water ran out fast. There is free WIFI but connection (along with cellular reception) was poor. You can get breakfast delivered to your room. Food was delicious but a bit pricey. Nothing else around the hotel so it is extremely quiet at all times. Parking available but no accommodation for my driver.
I am late in writing this review. As they say, people are more hurried in writing negatives. We stayed here with our 14 months old daughter and staff made best efforts to make her feel at home. Good food, as we were among the few guest in weekdays, they cooked what we wanted them to in Buffet. They even cooked food for our little one and provided whatever they could for the little one. Nicely maintained, lots of arts and flowers.
I got a very good deal in Make my trip for Westview as we wee there in the off-season. I would strongly recommend this place to couples, friends and family. I liked everything about the resort. I shelled out around 2k for a room with breakfast and was quite skeptical about the management and the condition of the rooms. once i reached the place and took the view of the plateau behind the resort, it was breathtaking! The management was great, rooms were decent and the food was unexpectedly awesome. They serve big portions of everything. Management was generous enough to include veg sandwiches in our free breakfast on our request. Staff is really humble and docile.
