I Personally like to thank Welcome Heritage Ranthambore Forest Resort Team Staff For the Homely treatment they had given during our visit in the month of January'17. Beautiful Property with lovely ambience, mouth watering food, prompt service of the staff, cozy living atmosphere with some entertaining cultural evening. To make the holiday memorable, i think Ranthambore Forest Resort is the must stay property.
Friendly and pleasant service, loved the food, felt like a home. Staff were really helpful, would love to stay here for rest of my Ranthambore's trip. Highly recommended. Enjoyed my trip , thanks for your contribution !
When11th Jan to 14th Jan, 2017. Stayed ---Welcome Heritage. Room 212, first floor is the best, lots of sunshine and deep in the garden. Reached Sawai Madhopur by train from Delhi, with wife and two kids early in the morning around 5:30 am. Met Bhupendar Rathod who drives a Tavera( mob no- 9828264335), who dropped us to the hotel at minimal cost. Won us over and continued to be our guide and driver for the next three days. Downright honest and very hardworking, the guy knows what he is doing. Reached Welcome Heritage in no time( its only 3 kms away). Though check in time is 12 noon, the resort was gracious enough to check us at 6 am to our desired room . CP Singh was available and check in was easy. It was pitch dark and a guy appeared out of nowhere to offer us tea, biscuits and milk for the kids our first introduction to Chaudhriji---a man who would continue to make our trip memorable across the next three days in more ways than one. The resort is beautifully done. Lots of green open play areas for the kids and sitting areas for their parents. We soaked in the sun while the kids played . The resort has cricket bats, wickets, tennis balls, racquets , badmontor court, carrom, etc to keep the kids busy. Breakfast was served in the garden. Day 1Bhupendar took us around Ranthambore Fort and Ranthambore museum. Bhupendar knows as much history as the rest of the guides there and we didnt have to hire a guide. We made sure to worship and say our prayers to Trinetra Ganeshji atop the Fort, a good 300 plus stair climb). The entire Park and the core Game Zones can we seen completely from the Fort. Day 2Went for Tiger safari in Zone 2. During winters it is advisable to go for the afternoon safari since it is chilly out there. We were glad we went during the afternoon with lots of sunshine around. The Safari lasted for 3 hours. Saw lots of animals and occasional warning calls of animals signaling presence of Big Cats around---but alas couldnt see one. The serenity of the jungle and the presence of so many wild animals more than made up for getting to see a Tiger. We leave that for some other day, and we wish to come back here again . Summers are the best time to see the Tigers around water bodies on the safari route. Day 3- Bhupender suggested us to visit Pali Ghat for Chambal Safari, a protected Crocodile and Alligator Sanctuary. We are glad we agreed to him and went ahead. It is worth every second a visitor spends there.Took an one hour boat safari and would have seen some 50-60 crocs and alligators sunbathing on the river banks. Lots of baby alligators and crocodiles were rolling around too. The kids freaked out and mommy was concerned too, and it packed in a punch to the excitement. The river is very calm, serene and is also the point where one can see three rivers merging at one Place---Chambal, Dwarkadheesh and Parbati river merging. Saw an Indian Skimmer fighting it out with its catch, a large fish, for close to 10 minutes in middle of the river. It finally flew away after a fight well won with its catch. While returning from the Chambal Safari Bhupender took us to vegetable farmlands of his choice. The mustard, brinjal, tomato and chilly farms that we visited gave us excellent photo opportunities of the countryside. It was a holiday well spent. Chaudhriji and his team in the kitchen made sure the food his delicious. Just enough spice for the kids and their parents to enjoy the food . Food spread was good for all the three meals. What made our stay memorable in Welcome Heritage was the warmth of the staff . Everybody went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, right from starting a bonfire exactly at 6:30 pm everyday to organizing a cultural folk and dance show every evening. This place by default becomes our place of stay in Ranthambore whenever we land up here for our holidays.Thank You Ranthambore and Welcome Heritage for a splendid holiday.

Excellent cottages and for Rs 7000 per night in season time for a couple including breakfast and all meals is quite a value for money deal. Rooms were large and cosy. Staff very courteous. Just a ten minute drive from Sawai Madhopur railway station.
