The Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort

This place is the epitome of luxury and excellent service. Every possible need was anticipated, any possible request was accommodated and the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a luxurious experience. We travel quite frequently and stay in similar facilities all over the world but have never had an experience like this - we actually felt like visiting royalty. Every single staff member knew our children’s names and greeted them as such from the moment we entered and during any interaction. Every staff member seemed to know the specifics of every item of our itinerary and were lying in wait to assist with anything we need and to bid us farewell, packed snacks for the trip and to greet us upon arrival. They even took the time to find out which animals we saw as we returned and immediately upon arrival asked the children about how they saw tigers and bears during that safari. The welcome and all the bonus little extras particularly for the children every single day were magnificent (I won’t share details so to not spoil the surprise). The general manager Ratna truly seems to care deeply about every guest’s experience and seemed to be the driving force behind such excellent service. Every other 5 star hotel in the world takes a backseat to this place.

This hotel is hands down the best I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve been to a lot of incredible places. The service is next level, with every little detail thought through, and the staff are not just amazing at what they do but also genuinely kind, interesting, and fun to talk to. We felt so taken care of the entire time. Big shoutout to Ratna, the general manager, who is absolutely amazing - she is running the best hotel service I’ve ever seen. If you’re coming to Ranthambore, only stay here.

Went to enjoy our anniversary dinner and was totally aghast by the number of maids in the Tea lounge and restaurant. They were probably attendees to the guest children but they definitely spoil the atmosphere. Food was average for an Oberoi hotel. No place to sit and relax after dinner.

Is it possible to give them 6 stars? An extra for perfection. We have never seen better service in our lives. We were expecting top notch Oberoi service but everyone, literally everyone at the Oberoi Vanyavilas exceeded our wildest imaginations. They are not only friendly but can anticipate your needs before you. We feel the hotel has such high standards because it's led very aptly by the wonderful General Manager who welcomes every guest personally and she checked in on us everyday. Kudos! The food was another highlight. We were amazed at the extensive menu and not one item was not excellent. The staff at the dining rooms were all excellent. The crew at the bar was extremely lovely too. We wish we could have stayed much longer than 3 nights. Vanyavilas is possibly the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in, and it is the staff that makes it number 1 in the world. Situated on the busy stretch of Ranthambore national Park's entrance. Visitors must remember that in India wildlife resorts and lodges are located outside the parks, unlike in Africa. I wish indian bureaucracy would let go of their mindset and allow hotels like Vanyavilas to be inside the parks, making them serene and truly exquisite.

Our most favorite place in the world - literally - is this place. The only hotel that we’ve visited which exceeded every expectation. Thank you for our breakfast in the garden; a very thoughtful way to send us off on our long journey home.
