Resort is at Nice location and well maintained. Lawns were good and cottages well spread out around big lawn / pool. Hotel staff helpful in arranging safari tours. Could have offered more variety in food. House keeping staff needs to be trained.

Come to see the Tigers Come to see the Tigers

by John R on February 18, 2017

Hotel is in a nice quiet setting. Some rooms are set around the pool and some are chalets around a green. Rooms are ok but facilities basic and perhaps what you should expect in this area and class of hotel. Water was hot. There was not much breakfast left when we got back from our safari in the Game Reserve. Lunch and Evening meal was pretty much the same type of food. Indian dishes, rich and a pasta. We went in a fairly large army vehicle which was far too uncomfortable for the bumpy terrain. Those with bad backs should not do this! Some of our party took a small jeep which was more suitable. We didn't see any tigers, but they are out there so pot luck really. No need to spend more than two nights here.

Lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful and kind. Room nice and big with a veranda & 2 chairs. Beautiful gardens which are well kept. Wasn't lucky enough to see any tigers but a very relaxing stay for the 2 nights we had there.

Our stay at your resort 11 Feb - 14 February 2017 Just wanted to give some feedback of our stay at Tiger Den resort. It is a wonderful and professionally run resort. The staff are attentive whether it us to pick up the bag of a guest or being attentive at the table. They take pains to go out of their way to engage with their guests. The housekeeping is perfect. You return to your room in the morning to a done up room with fresh sheets and towels. The ambience and the flower gardens are a pleasure, tastefully done and soothing. Finally the jewel of this place is Mr. Patrick. Ever attentive to the guests needs and always ready to help. You tell him anything just once and you know it will be done. He is always around without being intrusive. He is an asset to the resort. We've had a great time and met some wonderful staff at the resort. Thanx for everything. Dr. Derick and Dr.Lalita Delima.

Great basic hotel - why pay more if it's the Tigers you are after Great basic hotel - why pay more if it's the Tigers you are after

These are really nice bungalows, and standard Indian buffet food (i.e. If you ask nicely they will make you something fresh) - staff were very helpful. We saw tigers twice in three days. Make sure your tour has put you in the six seater keeps - the big 25 sweaters can't get everywhere. Don't go on a full day - tigers are around first thing and last thing. We passed some swankier places - but they are all fake - my advice would be to spend your money focusing on getting the best safari here - and save the luxury hotel money for the Havelis and real palaces elsewhere.

Great service and excellent food! Great service and excellent food!

by vandurao on February 6, 2017

The staff here were courteous, polite and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble - be it an extra cup of tea or some consolation and kind words when we did not spot a tiger during our safari. In fact, they all prayed that my kids would eventually see the tiger - and we did, in spectacular style!! The food was wholesome and very tasty too. Rooms were okay, but the grounds and space was pleasant and lovely.
