Wonderful experience ! We were a group of 12 people . There is a garden in front of every cottage. Arrangements can be made for folk dance and bonfire. Would recommend to other friends too.
Access, The hotel is situated in Sawai Madhopur on the Ranthambore Road --- If travelling by road from Jaipur take a left turn as soon as you cross the railway bridge in Sawai Madhopur. You will see loads of hotels on the road, keep travelling on the same road and you will find a small sign board saying " Vatika Hotel" and that's where the Hotel is. Parking: The Hotel has no covered parking but has space to park about six to eight cars, just in front of its entrance. The premise is locked in the night with a guard standing so your car will be safe. Location: The hotel is in a very convenient location for the Ranthambore Safari. The Jeep Safari booking counter is just 5-10 minutes walk from the Hotel. Although its not required as the Hotel people helped us in getting our bookings done. We had to take the morning safary which starts at 6.30 am and the jeep came right at the hotel gate sharp at 6.30 for us to load in the gypsy and leave for the safary. The Front desk: The staff was reasonably helpful. We booked two AC Deluxe double rooms with an extra bed in one of them and when we reached the hotel at 1.30 pm, the rooms were ready, excluding the extra bed which they added in the evening (although it was just a mattress and no bed). The person at the reception gave us some good advice on planning for the sightseeing and arranged for the jeep safary in no time. The Room: The rooms were excellent, absoluetely clean and tidy with big bathrooms and hot & cold water 24*7. Overall I was extremely happy with the rom condition and cleanliness. Food & Room Service: We did not order anything fancy. Food was average to good. Service was quick. Overall: I would definitely recommend the hotel to all ... its a great place to stay and a great value for money.
The hotel is little near from station, the staff behaviour was ok,its average hotel, locationwise is very good hotel having garden, bone fire was good at night.over all i would rate 3/5 for this hotel.
This is a tricky review to write because I had a fantastic stay at Vatika - the staff are really superb, the food was wonderful and they truly made me feel at home. They'd get perfect scores except for some minor things about the facilities. The room needed a bit of maintenance (tap not working, loose screws) but I guess they'll fix everything over the summer. The dining room could be easily improved by using clean table cloths and getting a new serving tray. Some people might not like to see old stains or crumbs so close to their meal. (However the plates and cups were always clean.) It's worth mentioning that the town's electricity is unreliable - it can be a pain when the a/c goes off at the hottest time of day. And there aren't any activities on offer within Vatika itself. So come prepared with a good book or visit a nearby hotel for a swim. On the plus side, the garden is lovely and the National Park is just over the road. Vishnu helped out with booking safaris and the jeeps came to pick me up from the front gate. I saw tigers on all 4 safaris! I also recommend taking a trip to the hilltop Fort and Ganesh temple. Vatika is more like a homestay than a hotel and would suit people on a budget or couples who want some privacy. I also discovered that Vishnu pays the staff all through the summer when the park is closed, which I think is brilliant and an extra reason to support this locally owned hotel.
It was a very short stay plus due to the off season most of the dining options around the hotel were closed. Vishnu was off great help he has good knowledge of surrounding.

We visited for 2 Nights during first half of December. I checked reviews on TripAdvisor and called the hotel and booked directly. I informed them of my itinerary and requested them to book a room and a safari for me. I wanted to go for a Gypsy Safari but the manager advised me that it would be too costly and I was better off taking a canter. I went with the advise. I think the resort can be a bit more forthcoming by arranging to pick their customers from the station even if it were by an auto Rikshaw. They can perhaps give phone no's of a few auto drivers to their guests before they arrive which will save the customer from Hunting and Haggling with an auto driver. This is just a suggestion. The resort itself is small but preety. I would recommend any one of the two rooms on the ground floor which open out to a lawn. The room was nice , not lavish but comfortable. The cleanliness was good. They would serve hot chapatis to our table and also asked us on what we prefer for Lunch and Dinner. This personalised attention is appreciated. Nothing much to do in and around the resort which gives you an opportunity to laze around and just relax and speak with other guests or the hotel staff. All in all it was a good experience.
From the minute we arrived Davendra made us feel incredibly at home and welcome. He couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. We arrived in the evening and the staff made us a bonfire outside our room with complimentary chai. Packed lunch was provided for our safari and evening meals were bountiful and delicious! The room was large, clean and comfortable. Each room here has a pretty terrace and garden space. Only 10 minutes from the national park entrance. If you visit Ranthambore you must stay here!
A great place to stay, far off from the city & in close proximity to the National park. The rooms are really clean & cozy, with loads of open space surrounding them. The food is delicious, not to mention the ever friendly staff who provide great service. In winters, they even light small individual bonfires around which guest can relax after an adventurous day. All this at a very pocket friendly price!!
I booked two rooms at Vatika Resort. My parents loved the resort and we're very happy with the hotel. We had lunch and The complimentary breakfast, both the meals were delicious. Special thanks to the owner for giving me a deal worth remembering.
The landscaping was very nice. The internet worked well and there was a good variety of international news channels available on the tv. I had two safaris arranged for me and while I was waiting for the safaris I was able to watch the monkeys in the trees at the hotel.
