I stayed at the Sea fans hotel in Ratnagiri for a couple of days from 27th-29th January. We were a group of 6 guys. The hotel is located right across the Mandvi beach and a jetty. If you get a super deluxe or a deluxe room you should be able to see the sea right across the window. Ratnagiri fort (a must visit place especially during sunrise or sunset) is about a couple of kms from the hotel. The hotel is very well maintained with all amenities like room service(extra 10% charge for foods delivered to room), free toileteries which included shaving kits as well, in house dining, hot water, elevators, air conditioning etc. Rooms are pretty spacious with great view (at least for the deluxe rooms). Breakfast is complimentary before 10 AM. There is also a restaurant just adjacent to the hotel where you could find some sea food as well. The protruding jetty in front of the hotel is a nice place to hang out in the evening and night. Car parking is available in front of the hotel. There is also a market very nearby for any other needs. The only drawback I would say is that the beach in front of the hotel does not seem to be suitable for bathing. The water appeared dirty with lots of litters (unfortunate to see that) and it is very rocky with lack of waves. You'll have to travel a few kms to either Aray waray beach or 20kms to Ganpatipul beach for bathing. But overall this is a very good hotel to stay in Ratnagiri and you should have value for money.

Hotel's Location is Very Good , Near Sea. Rooms r clean Most imp u will get hot water for shower at any time Staff is polite and even Owner is Co Operative and Soft Spoken Lift Facility is also available Near by Ratnagiri Bus Station ( Auto will charge nominal amount ) Hotel is having its own Restaurant which is quite good Over all worth to stay there

The location of the hotel makes it worth everything. Right in front of the beach as shown in the pics. Rooms are spic and span clean. Beautiful wall-sized window, though mine didn't face the beach directly but still a decent view. Clean bathroom and bed sheets. Very courteous and friendly staff. Rooms are also quite large. I only faced one problem - noisy guests on the floor. Despite my complaining to the hotel staff, but they were not strict enough to ask them to be quite, and I was disturbed in the middle of night. Not the hotel's own problem, but they should be able to deal with such noisy guests and make them realize the trouble they are causing others.

# Hotel Sea fans # The Best thing about this hotel is the vicinity of MANDVI Beach. The surrounding environment is fantabulous. I have stayed there for 3 days. below are the observations as per my experience 1) Hotel location is very prime & next to GATEWAY OF RATNAGIRI (Old Jetty) 2) Hotel Lobby is clean & Neat 3) Standard room charges are economical 4) You can hear instrumental music in Hotel lobby and same in your room by switching on the special button provided in room 5) Rooms are not well maintained, spider webs are clearly visible. 6) Grimy Towels with visible red /yellow marks. don't forget to carry your own towels. 7) Toilets with narrow space & nonworking exhaust fans. I have changed my room from standard to sea facing but the issue remains. 8) complimentary Breakfast with good food taste. however, it's chargeable if you order the same in room 9) Food is not up to the mark. Better visit MASALA KITCHEN next to the hotel sea fans. You will get good quality of sea Food there. 10) Hotel staff is very nice and polite. 11) Hotel sea fans location connects you to the nearest 6 touristsspot so it's a great choice if you want to move conservative on your cash. 12) The small balcony will help to click some nice selfies :-) but flies & insect can be a nightmare. Make sure you switch off the balcony's light at night. 13) Unpleasant smell in the elevator will turn your mood off. Overall summary - Best Panorama, A very good treat for sea sight lover & SLR users. Economical hotel Need further improvement in terms of Room interior. Food with average quality. Nothing special. Nice & Polite staff Explore some other options if you plan to revisit

I was there for 3 nights. Every shop you see on that road, you basically see the same owner in it. In the bar shop beside sea fans, In the dining and in the Hotel. He is extremely rude, sarcastic. You cant get away staying in the hotel without meeting the owner. Trust me, he will ruin your stay and make it an over all bad experience about the place. The rooms had lots of mosquitos and we asked the owner if he could change the room and he was very rude. He was making fun of us. The rooms, service and area its horrible and pathetic. I could have probably put up a tent on the beach side rather being in this hotel.
