Stayed here for two nights with my wife, newborn child (4 months), cousin. Took the top floor rooms, got the whole floor to ourselves. I believe this hotel has the best view in Rishikesh. Budget friendly. Clean rooms. The only trouble is with food, though you have a lot of food joints around, but if you want Indian food it might turn out to be a challenge. Very safe locality and easy access to the ghats. The ghat right below the hotel is not visited by many. If you want some amount of isolation to meditate and be at peace, then you should must stay here, Laxman jhula is around 150-200 metres walking from the hotel. The owner is helpful and polite. Paid 1000 INR per night. I would have given it a 5 star if they could have arranged for some food options.
We were searching for the place to stay and we somehow found this place through Tripadvisor and we were so happy with it. We booked it through facebook - the reply was so fast. Our room had attached bathroom and double bed and in front was nice balcony with a beautiful view on Ganga. Price for two of us for a room (without tv and without heather ) was 700 rupies and we were really satisfied with it. Hot shower, clean room, friendly owner and nice staff, good location - few houndred meters from Laxman Jhula bridge, peacefull side of Rishikesh. I must say that it was really nice. The owner offers you taxi service so if you want, they can pick you up on a train station in Haridwar and take to guest house or they can take you to the station to catch train for the price of 1000 rupies. If you need to catch night train, thrust me, this is really worth it, because Indians are crazy drivers and being in a car in warm (we were here in December, so it was foggy and colder) - it means a lot. We decided to come with tuk tuk taxi which we picked from railway station and have to say that driver was so rude - we arranged the price of 400 rupies and than he charged us extra 100 because "he had to go down to Laxman Jhula bridge" which was 200meters more. So be carefull and tell them that you need to come next to Laxman for the price of 300-400 rupies. So, if you book here, you will not be dissapointed. :)
Very nice budget hotel. In the last floor room you will have a great ganga view. Nice and friendly staff. Very clean hotel. We pay 1000rs by day and stay in the best room, in front of ganges. The hotel is very close of good restaurants and bakeries. I sourly would stay there again.
I stayed here for two nights and had a great stay. The hotel manager is a young lad of about 18 -20 years and is a friendly person. He looks after the guest well and takes care of your every need. The rooms are neat and clean and also budget friendly. The hotel is located next to a very good bakery named pumpernickel bakery where you can savor the best of delicacies and bakery products. The river side rooms offer a splendid view of the holy river Ganges. All in all, it is a great place to stay considering the comfort and the hospitality shown by its managers/owners. I long to go back and stay there again.
We stayed in a room on the river side. Nice views of the Ganges. Great balcony (terrace) outside those rooms, we ordered excellent breakfast in the German bakery next door and had it on our terrace (they carried it up when it was ready). Wonderful restaurant across the street, the Moon Light Cafe --- seemed to have repeat customers, not surprising, given its nice atmosphere and great food. This hotel doesnt really have a webpage, so its hard to book ahead. Its easy to find: We took a taxi from Dehradun airport to Laxman Jhula, crossed the footbridge, turned right and walked for about five minutes. We would definitely stay here again!
