Summit By The Ganges Beach Resort & Spa, Rishikesh

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some redeeming qualities, the overall experience was underwhelming due to poor management and subpar service. The most significant issue was the management's apparent lack of coordination. The front desk staff seemed disorganized, often unable to answer basic questions or resolve simple issues. Requests for extra towels or amenities were forgotten, and there was a noticeable lack of communication between departments. Housekeeping also fell short, with rooms not being cleaned thoroughly or on time. On a positive note, the restaurant was a bright spot. The restaurant management was clearly more professional, with attentive and friendly staff who ensured that dining was a pleasant experience. The food was well-prepared, and the atmosphere was enjoyable, making it the highlight of my stay. Additionally, the hotel’s location offered stunning views, particularly from my room. The panoramic vistas of the surrounding area were truly breathtaking and made the stay more memorable despite the service shortcomings. Overall, the hotel has great potential, but it needs a major overhaul in terms of overall management and staff training. With improved coordination and attention to detail, it could easily be a fantastic destination. As it stands, the views and the restaurant's management are the only things that kept me from being completely disappointed.

Polite and Courteous Staff. The staff’s politeness and courteous behavior stood out during my stay. They were always respectful and eager to assist with any request.

We had recently stayed at Summit by Ganges. We had great time here. Food is tasty. The hotel has beautiful places to have photo shoots. Being next to Ganges gives a grt feeling. We had holy dips. Evening Harti is a highlight. Staff are courteous. When we asked for higher floor room, they ensured to get one. Nice place to stay at.

I recently stayed at this hotel with a group of 14 people, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The primary issue was the staff's lack of professionalism and attentiveness. It seemed that they were overwhelmed and not properly trained to handle the needs of guests. Service was slow and often unresponsive, leading to frustration among our group. We encountered several issues that were not addressed in a timely manner, which added to our disappointment. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and it was clear that customer service was not a priority. Given the poor experience we had, I cannot recommend this hotel to others. It’s a shame, as we were looking forward to our stay, but we will not be returning in the future. There are certainly better options available that prioritize guest satisfaction.

34 people group stayed here for a 3 days residential corporate conference. The hospitality was of the highest category. Food is simply out of this world. Location, staff and the service was truly remarkable. Three cheers to the staff specially Amir, Fayaz, Manohar ji who made this event of ours unforgettable. Wish I cud give more than 5 stars.
