I had gone by car to sawantwadi so no idea reagrding railway ststion is closed or far away but it is in good location.Staff was friendly and informative given me all help and information I required special mention for the food the taste was realy realy good.I will recommend to families ,they shold try this place if they are planning for trip full of joys .not to business man because there is no business facilities. friends group can also try out..We realy had great fun here

We had booked this resort looking at the wonderful photographs on their website. Please dont be fooled by that. Its a terrible resort for staying. Although the houses look pretty from outside, their rooms, service and food all are horrible. We went there during Diwali 2011 and in the entire resort, we were the only family. It is ghostly at night. When we reached there in the evening, we requested for Bhaji and Sandwitch. They said they had to go to market to buy the raw materials. Unfortunately the management is wasting a great opportunity. The resort is beautiful with a small lake within it and good natural forest around it. Thankfully we had given only one days payment as advance, we checked out the very next day and stayed in Kamat's near the lake. Strictly avoid this resort.

The hotel is an MTDC hotel now under management of Krishna Sagar Holiday Resorts. The location is good but the hotel is not professionally run. The hotel is about 1 km from the Mumbai- Goa highway but there is no signboard on the highway. Even the locals did not know about it. This itself speaks about the hotel quality. The hotel reception is non existant. The entrance of the hotel is good but once u step inside u realise that that the hotel is in a state of decay. Out of the 20 odd cottages only 3 were occupied. The rooms are pathetic. The bedsheets are stained. The television was not working. The bathroom was filthy. It had not been cleaned for ages. Thhe bathroom door was full of fungus. So we asked for another cottage. We were given an executive cottage with a bath tub.This one was slightly better than the 1st one. The room was bigger but was very dirty.The bathroom had a tub but it was filthy. the hand shower was broken. There was no proper lighting in the bathroom. We decided not to have a bath at all, even after driving all the way from Mumbai. So u can guess how pathetic the bathroom is. Now more about the hotel. There is a lake inside the premises but that too is in a bad shape. There is one boat for boating but it is in a bad shape and filthy. There is a restaurant that over looks tha lake. But since the occupancy is low the food is not readily available. you have to place an order. The food too is very bad. The hotel staff are not interested in serving the guests. Over all the place is not worth going to. I dont recommend it to any one. If u are tired after driving 500 kms sleep in your car that at that hotel.

The best part of this property is the location. Its just 0,5 km from Moti Talao. It is a good property, good rooms, but very poor service. We were 4 of us hence rented 2 AC cottages. The AC of 1 room was not working so had to shift in other. In our room, the geyser was not working. It was very hot/humid so it didnt bother us. The property is very nice. Plush grees and one can spot Kingfisher (not the beer!) in your verandah. That reminds me, they dont serve alcohol (too bad for a place so nice & relaxing). Their service is very slow, but the food is average (3/5 rating). Good option if you want to spend a quite weekend.
