The location is awesome. Rooms are fantastic, well-equipped, with great views. Staff are pleasant, courteous. Check-in & check-out is smooth. Cuisine is excellent; great service! Worth visiting again!
The property is at an hour drive before Shimla when traveling from Chandigarh . Its layout is special and offers excellent hill views , there are many lawns and plans giving added beauty to the property , the facilities are too good as one would expect from Club Mahindra . You can have nice sunrise and sun set views right from the comfort of your room . Going to your rooms and coming back to the fate/ reception will require some physical efforts , but it is very enjoyable . The activity centre is huge and has lot of facilities to keep you engaged .. The staff were extremely friendly and go out of the way to meet your needs . The food range and taste was fine , though not the best that you would get from some other properties of Club Mahindra. Though we visited in a reasonably cold month , the room had both cooling and heating systems and hence we really enjoyed the stay
We spent couple of days in this resort !!!!
an Excellent and huge property. Rooms are very specious. Surprisingly, the resort was very much accessible from the main road, which is quite rare in case of Club Mahindra.
The food was quite costly though.. We tried Buffet, which had ample varieties of dishes. Also tried Al-a-carte. Must say that the management need to look into this part. Service is too slow, and you get a feeling that they give preference to the Buffet guests compared to Al-a-carte.
As a CM Trademark, we enjoyed the evening Karaoke program. They need to upgrade their system though. Doesn't suit to the Club Mahindra Standards.
Staff handling the Karaoke program was good and quite innovative.
Overall, a good stay.
Amazing place staff is also very helpful.... And the adventures were fun... The weather added to the beauty of the resort.... Truly a wonderful place for family outings.... The best place to be in this weather
Located about 25 kms below Shimla , this 12 acre property is on the main highway. It is very well maintained, lots of greenery and birds. It is situated on a slope and thus involves a lot of walking and climbing . They do have vans to drop you off Incase you do not want to walk. They have dozens of varieties of roses and flowers and fruits though we couldn't appreciate them in this cold weather. There are many activities like zip line, rock climbing, trekking and the usual indoor games.
I had a one bedroom unit with a kitchenette, TV in both the rooms, slit AC heater in both rooms so it was very comfortable despite the cold. Our unit had a balcony with a view of the mountains.
Positives: Smooth check in and check out.
- Very courteous and helpful staff.
Negatives: Housekeeping was a little lax, had to be reminded to provide more tissue rolls.
-Food was average : chef on the egg station used oil liberally and botched up a simple sunny side up fried egg. Coconut chutney good one day , turns rancid the next day but still served up. Starters like chicken kebabs and tandoori served cold when there should have been a live station. Staff in the buffet restaurant are not on their toes and need to be reminded to fill empty bowls or get napkins etc. We complained to the executive chef ,Mr Sagar Iyer and what a difference it made . He served some excellent food the next two days.
