We booked this hotel at the last moment as we impromptu decided to extend our vacation and travel to Shimla from Chail. The hotel is located about 3km away from the Mall Shimla, right on the Modern ISBT.Unlike many other hotels in Shimla, cars can go all the way upto the ISBT entrance, from where one takes a lift to the 4th floor to reach the hotel. We requested and got interconnecting rooms since we were 2 families. The hotel is new, and maintained in good condition. The bathrooms are nice, clean and compact. Only issue is that the shower area is not totally segregated, and thus the whole washroom becomes wet while one person bathes. The food was reasonably priced and quite tasty. The hotel staff are willing to look into individual orders too. Dinner buffet was quite good and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Shimla on a reasonable budget and wanting to stay away from the Mall.
Hard to find hotel lift was not functioning so we have to climb up four floors ..hotel number given was busy throughout the day although nobody was using it ...room service 13%extra ... 5%is understandable but 13%is too much ... A simple limca bottle costed me 61ruppee ... Cost is too much over as compared to standard of hotel they maintain ... Rooms were good washrooms were very clean staff is nice ... But overall i had a personal negative experience... Food is not upto the mark ...
View from our room was very good as we had a corner room. Food at the hotel was quite tasty. Also the staff was quite courteous.
