We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The hotel rooms are older, but were clean and basic. It was nice to rest and shower, but nothing special. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers.

The deluxe rooms have wooden floors with dark furniture. The bed was comfortable. The food was good. We were amazed to find the food so cheap. The only problem was parking as there is not enough space for all the customer cars. The hotel has got a parking for only 9 cars at the maximum. The staff was little bit more friendly...some people may like while some may find it as intrusion. Apart from that connectivity was good and so was the view.

We stayed three nights in Dec 2016. Reached in the night, we had great difficulty to shift our luggage from the points car drops to the hotel which quite up with stiff stairs. Our room was in 6th floor, but the lift is up to 4th only. Very average food with little choice. Maintenance is very poor, we had issues with geyser and had to take bath in another room. Door lock is defective and had to get a waiter every time we had to open our room. Towels are blackish due to over use and bathroom bucket are dirty. The reception is not receptive at all to complaints. At 22500 + 600 (room heater) for three nights for three guests, it is over priced consider to the service and facilities provided

We reached Shimla at night and the Hotel Shingar was not reachable by Car and we were not aware about it. The driver dropped us at a staircase from where the luggage was to be taken uphill to reach the Hotel and that too after a full day of travel by road. The Hotel people charged for luggage transfer and we hardly had any choices but to pay for that. The Hotel room 504 was very small and the outside view from the Hotel was the shabbiest view ever in any Hotel i.e. only Sintex water tanks of the adjacent building were visible from the window. The food in the hotel was average and very little choices in North Indian cuisine.

Room size is small , cleaning is not good smelly rooms, room service is also not good. food quality is average. one thing i like the location of the hotel is suitable because it on walking distance from the ridge.

We stayed on delux room which has a modern room decor. Room was warm which is good in cool place. Food and service were excellent . Our Waiter we're kind and helping. All over our stay is excellent. Reception staff were good. I Recommend this hotel and visit again.

Very good stay. The hotel is well established and its located on "Mall Road". The rooms are neat and clean and the hotel staff are well mannered and helpful. My package included only breakfast which was delicious. I guess the lunch n dinner would be even more tastier. A perfect stay for couples/family.
