The Nilaya

Our visit to The Nilaya Mashobra was a refreshing escape into nature. Nestled in the hills, this property offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. As it's a Boutique hotel, so all the rooms were different in design & sizes, few of the rooms were spacious & some of them were not. But they were well designed , blending with the modern comfort with rustic charm. The large windows provided breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes, making mornings magical, a small drawback was, these rooms didn't have balconies. The amenities were top-notch. The on-site dining was delightful, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes, and trust me you won't get so delicious food any where in Mashobra. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. They were quick to assist with any requests and provided great local recommendations. There were plenty of activities available, from nature walks to exploring nearby attractions. The peaceful environment was ideal for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the Himalayas. Overall, my experience at The Nilaya Mashobra was wonderful. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

I stayed with family at Nilaya during Dasehara Holidays. It is easily reachable from Mashobra highway. It's boutique hotel and very well managed. Every corner of the place is pictureous and unique - either reception, lift, room, bar, restaurant, or attic. The attic was the best place where we spend a lot of time - it has 3D view of surroundings and vibe was cheerful. Kids enjoyed games(Foosball, Carrom, Chess, ...) and we enjoyed views and books at attic. It's pet friendly too. The food was super delicious. Both day and night views have different charisma. Beds were cozy and bathrooms were sufficiently small. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Everything comes with a price and so applied here (specially food, which is usually not complementary). The Cagnino Nature Walk and Apple Research Centre were close by but needs your own vehicle to go there.

We recently stayed @ Nilaya Hotel, Shimla for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The staff led by Mr. Arun were extremely helpful throughout our stay here. This boutique hotel has beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Their bar had a great vibe along with some outstanding views (especially during sunset). The food at the hotel was also great. We had a big group and they were very accommodating in helping us with anything we needed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Shimla.

Stunning views, top-notch hospitality, and incredible meals. The Nilaya is the perfect mountain retreat!
