Excellent place - very relaxing getaway. Ideal for couples.
A very good experience with this hotel. In future whenever I will visit Shimla I would like to stay in the same hotel again.
I had came here with my family & we were very pleased with our stay. The service offered was very good & we had no complaints whatsoever. I am looking forward to coming back again.
The Premier Room was Spacious and well arranged with all the facilities. Staff are helpful with friendly nature. Food was fantastic in taste. It is really a very good hill station to stay.
We are absolutely satisfied with our stay. The room provided was very clean & comfortable. Service were always on their feet. The food was divine. We will definitely give full marks to this property.
It was a good value for money. Staff was caring and service was desirable. Food was well prepared and quite hygienic is well. Room was spacious and bed was was comfortable. Overall it was a recommendable property for all kinds of travelers.
I booked this wildflower hall hotel for three nights but on arrival with our 3 yrs kid the management did not allow us to stay there, because the hotel not allow anybody below 18 yrs of age, but the management arrange their own sister concern hotel i.e. Oberoi Cecil which has excellent rooms and professional room service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to stay in Shimla.
Hotel was excellent.
had a bad and humiliating experience at the hotel. Not recommended for stay.Better options available in this range.
As I entered territory of Wildflower Oberoi Property Shimla, It was a feeling of amazing, simply superb hotel with damm courteous staff behaviour, and lavish type feeling from very lobby area. rooms are awesome, the best thing is swimming pool , and private forest area with fantastic view and full safety.

I just stayed at the Wildflower Hall with friends, and had an unparalleled experience. The beauty of the hotel and its grounds, the extremely comfortable rooms, the breathtaking views, the gorgeous pool and jacuzzi, and the delicious food--these were all superb. But what touched me most deeply, and what I take with me, is the incredible attention to detail and the Heart which the staff shared with us. In particular I want to mention the Chef, Mr. Mohan Gyani, the Director of Food and Beverages, Mr. Prashant, who handled a number of special food issues which we brought to their attention with exquisite sensitivity and grace. Ms. Poornima, from the front desk, went above and beyond the call of duty in when one of our group didn't feel well. She didn't just call the doctor, she made sure that our friend got an inhaler, got clear broths and simple foods to boost her strength, etc etc., all at her own initiative. In short, she took care of her just as relative would. And when we had to leave the hotel in the middle of night due to some unforeseen changes in our travel plans, we came down to the lobby to find these gallant staff members standing there waiting for us, even at the end of their incredibly long work day, to send us off with prepared boxed breakfasts and good wishes. All of us were very touched by these expressions of heartfulness and a level of care and service which went far beyond anything we had expected. thank you for an amazing experience!
Extremely comfortable stay while we were there in the 2nd week of March. Amazing staff with exceptional service - the best I have come across so far. Great food as well. Oberoi's truly has unmatched hospitality !!
I had stayed here with my son in 2008 and knew that I had to come back with friends. This hotel is just stunning and is situated in the breathtaking Himalayas with an indoor pool and an outdoor infinity jacuzzi. While the whole staff under the leadership of the General Manager, Ankush Mahajan (who welcomed us personally), is excellent, I particularly want to give a shout out to Mohan Gyani, the Executive Chef, and Prashant Trivedi, the Food and Beverage Service Manager. Our group had many food issues, including kosher food specifications. The Chef used brand new pots, pans, dishes and cutlery for us and truly went above and beyond the call of duty in catering to our needs. Due to an airline cancellation, we had to leave the hotel at 1.30 am in order to connect to our international flight. We were given a warm sendoff by several members of the staff, including the Chef (at that hour!!!) who had prepared breakfast boxes for us. It is a really beautiful hotel and well worth the effort of getting there.
We visited Wildflower Hall as part of our tour of India. It is difficult to describe the hotel and the staff without using superlatives. The setting is beautiful - high above Shimla, in the foothills of the Himalayas. From our room we could see the mountains bathed in snow and sunlight. We wrapped ourselves up and sat on the terrace in the brilliant sunshine. And for the staff (from the manager to the chambermaids) - nothing, no request, was too much. They wanted us to feel as if they were welcoming us into their own homes - and that we certainly felt! When it came to leave, there was a threat of snow - which ultimately meant that we had to leave much earlier in the day than we had planned, if we were to keep up with our very tight schedule. Secretly we had been hoping we might be trapped in the hotel - but that didnt happen - unfortunately! They managed to get us out before the storm!
This is a lovely property and best enjoyed when it's snowing (to my mind). We were lucky to experience snowfall when we were there and it changed the surrounding landscape into a winter wonderland - so pretty! The highlight of our trip was soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi when it was snowing - it was truly a magical experience and has to be experienced. It was made all the more special by the fact that they serve alcohol at the jacuzzi - we enjoyed some excellent South African wine while in the jacuzzi. The temperature controlled pool also made for a welcome dip when taking a break from the jacuzzi. The food served in the restaurant is very good - we had all our meals there. I would recommend going down early for a quieter breakfast experience (great hot buffet and a-la-carte options) and choice of table overlooking some of the scenic vistas. Try the roganjosh for a main meal. We chose to just soak up the hotel and the beautiful views from our room (do get the Mountain view room - it is completely worth it) and didn't explore at all - but I believe there are several treks, a visit to the Mall road in Shimla and other such activities should you want a slightly more active holiday. Being an Oberoi property, the service is absolutely wonderful - warm and personable across staff - from the General Manager to housekeeping staff. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back again.
