It is not a drive in hotel. Parking is an issue. Though on request, hotel staff arranges parking in some public parking some distance away. To reach the reception one has to climb stairs. Rooms are invariably dirty, drains stink, making the whole room stink. Towels are as dirty as foot mats. Linen was all stained. Floors are sticky. Door and door handles are so dirty and sticky, that I had to use tissue paper to deal with my movement. Shower was blocked ( and I was allotted the most premium room on pre- booking). All surfaces had dust and I have asthma. This was the second time I had stayed in the hotel, and despite reviews submitted earlier, nothing had changed. Staff doesn't correspond within itself. With change in shift, everything changes. We had booked the conference Hall for a training. Hall is pretty spacious, but amenities are limited. Hall was dirty when we started in the morning. Empty whisky bottle covers and soda bottles were stacked near water campor, cake cutting from previous night( or before) by some other party left it's mark all over. Floor was sticky. Main Door keeps creaking, interrupting the training. I requested for oiling it, but staff took their own solution- they opened the door fully and tied it's handle with the handle of door for open restaurant. Toilet for conference hall is common for men and women, and if not asked, hotel doesn't bother to keep it clean. Dirty doors and door handles is a common issue everywhere in the hotel. Food is average, but the unhygenic surroundings make you wonder twice whether you should eat. Not recommended for stay. Sadly this is the only hotel in the city that provides conference Hall, so that doesn't leave with much options for conducting office events within the city.
Right now I am at hotel, there is no water and bathroom is not cleaned, service is average, hotel staff is very apathetic for water crisis, manager told to me that whenever water available we will provide you but not taking any proactive step to solve this issue
The road leading to the hotel is packed with cars on both sides. The hotel offers no private parking but they have a guy who will help out.
The location is extremely dangerous and not suitable for kids. You pass a huge welding factory (open roof and walls) and mountain goats eating through a dustbin.
Now, the hotel itself. The room was cleanish. The bathroom was extremely dirty and the flush did not work. After several calls, the flush system was changed. Then, the lights switched off and on repeatedly throughout the hotel and "they were working on it".
The AC made a noise giving us a sleepless night. The staff at the reception was helpful though, in most things.
At 11, they closed the shutter to their hotel and a guard just sat there making us knock it crazily to make him open the shutter (while being surrounded by dogs & cats).
Overall, an experience that I hope is never repeated.
Hotel rooms are also very good. But I will give them 5 stars for the food. Any dish you order is just mouth watering and delicious. In our every stay at Nahan, we would definitely come here for lunch and dinners.
The experience was awesome, the hotel is at the market place with a restaurant cum take away shop of his own and they also deliver to the hotel rooms, it also have a restaurant. There is a fossil park on the way to Nahan from Naraingarh. The road is awesome. There is lack of restaurants & eating joints but the take away really makes delicious dishes. Must try out the cheese grilled & club sandwiches.
