in the mountain but you expect apart from nature beauty if i am not wrong to say is greet-meet and warm welcoming hospitality in this matter i found it very stiff , you reaching with your hardship to enjoy the beauty crossing through rough terrain of high himalaya region if you won,t get as you expected then one can feel easily pissed off being in hospitality profession we learn always be smily and welcoming and helpful to the guest doesnt matters how bad or wise they are so hope best for furture visit
Beautiful - fully worth the considerable effort to get there! Wonderful, dense, green forest all around. Nice views from everywhere on the property. Food was excellent, and matched the wonderful hospitality! A lot of the trekking options available - we took the easy waterfall walk through thick forest, as it was the last leg of our journey! Highly recommended.
This review comes late but never the less. We drove from Ghaziabad to Sojha and apart from the last 5 kms, the entire drive was good. But the last 5 kms can be real scary if you are not a skilled 1st gear driver. For us it was worse due to heavy rains which made the uphill route slippery as well. That is the only drawback of this place. Otherwise an amazing place in the lap of Himalayas with breathtaking views from the cottage. Mr. Rishi and his team take very good care of you. They even made a cake for my wife's birthday and the home cooked cake tasted awesome. The balcony / lounge of the new cottage is a lovely place to relax with the valley and the snow capped mountain views. Clouds rising from the valley add to the charm of the place. Food was fantastic and since we were the only guests, we had the liberty to decide upon the menu :) Lastly, avoid rainy season as we were not able to roam around much due to heavy rains all day. A beautiful place and a caring staff would make your stay a wonderful memory to cherish.
While the beautiful environment with spectacular views works on the outside, the resort staff stands out with their great hospitality. While the accommodation is rustic, it suits the mountain feeling. In front of the rooms the gallery invites to sit out and enjoy the scenery. In the month of December, warm clothes (also in the night) are recommended as temperatures can be around zero degrees. It is not a spa holiday but a place to enjoy and explore nature and the lovely people of Himachal Pradesh. Thanks to Banjara Retreat and its team.
