I was on business trip. we reached 06:00 AM. earlier we inform them for morning check. we never get room in morning. we wait at reception area till 11:00 Am. room is like 2 star property toilets are not clean. service as well not good. over all can try other property.
Considering the price, this hotel is very good. Also the location is excellent which gives excellent view from the room. Only drawback is that the laundry facility is not available here. Other than that, i love this resort.
Hotel Himani in Solan is a comfortable place to stay. It is on the main road to the city and adds to the convenience.Railway station is nearby and the Mall Road in walking distance. Food is tasty. Rooms are small but well furnished. One cannot expect good views from this hotel due to its location on the main road.
Amazing place, great staff & delicious north Indian cuisine served hot on special request on a wintry sunny morning at the rooftop! Mountains, Valleys and Sun - could one ask for more?! Himani resorts is the best place to stay if you are travelling to Solan valley. Clean deluxe rooms and large glass windows enable a stunning view from the rooms, with a hot cuppa of tea!
We had some spare time in between projects and wanted to visit Simla. So we took a car from Chandigarh airport to Solan on 7th March 2016. It is a charming small hotel, centrally located and a pretty nice place to call it a day when away from home for both 'business' and leisure travelers. You would mostly end up in Solan, just on the way to elsewhere. The rooms are quite good in size, clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms have a good view of the hills and Mt. Karol. Wifi did not work in our room but worked in the rooftop restaurant area. It is not a budget hotel, certainly not a cheap backpack type budget hotel, nor is it a very fancy hotel. On the plus side, food is tasty and rooms were clean. However one peculiar drawback; though the management we had been in touch with were very amicable on the phone and via mail, the staff on ground, at least in this location, on this occasion were not very quick, not cheerful and did not smile much. Perhaps it is just that they are not well trained- they may be a little ill at ease and don't know customer service- not surly, not rude, but apathetic. I hope this was temporary because we liked this unpretentious hotel with its wedding cake sort of two tiered rustic look. We hope to stop back here on our way to other short hill station excursions. There is a sort of informal concierge service available.
