It was a pleasent experience for me. The room was tidy & well ventilated. Hot water was available through out the day. The staffs were very good at their service. In my view Hotel Paragon Palace is a very quiet & comfortable place to stay for person of any group of age. They have a very nice restaurant within their hotel & a comfortable sitting lounge. Their terrace is the most wonderful place to be when someone wants to see the scenic view of the Solan City. I do not drink, but those who prefer having a drink during their stay in this hotel, these people do not have to wander anywhere else because they could find a nice BAR within the hotel which is a pretty good option. It is also safe because you do not have to walk OR drive after having a drink. This hotel is very near to the NH22 (within 100mtrs) & it is also only 500mtrs away from the Solan ISBT. The Solan Railway Station is around 250mtrs away from the hotel. The Mall which is the biggest market place in Solan is only a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Solan with them. So, I hope the same for you. I got a good price when I booked my hotel stay through www.travelguru.com

The service is upto the mark with good and clean rooms....with all amneties in the room...but a pretty expensive...You can negotiate they will offer you 20% discount as well. Room heaters are also available in each room.
A well located small hotel which made my overnight stay comfortable. Although rooms were a bit small, but cosy enough in December. All basic amenities were available. Not very grand but ok for a night out. Room service and check in/out were prompt. Certain minus points....bed level too low for my liking and lcd tv size small. but its ok, as most of the time is spend outside and one comes to the room only for resting/ sleeping.
i have never seen a hotel where the common areas are being continuously cleaned. the stewards serve with a smile. did not expect this level of cleanliness and service in a hotel in solan. In spite of the hotel located in the middle of the bazaar, the view was amazing.
My second stay in this hotel in past decade or so surprised me with pleasant makeover.....since my favourite property in Barog ran to full capacity......and had no choice but to stay in Solan because of prior commitments. Offers well appointed rooms......good food......ample parking space......and not so good view because of location constraints.......at a reasonable price. Terrace Restaurant is a welcome surprise.......not to mention the vast expanse that provides guests with ample privacy too. Staff was surprisingly very well mannered and prompt with their service.....what more can you ask for.
The rooms are comfy without being luxurious. The hotel is located bang in the middle of the city, so market is at hand. However, the con is that traffic keeps disturbing you at night too. The rooms don't have much of a view. However, the rooftop is an entirely different cup of tea. The view from the rooftop, especially at night, is a sight for the sore eyes. Coupled with the cool breeze, you really don't want to retire to your room. Cleanliness, especially the washrooms, could do with a major lift.
