We stayed in Golden Palace Houseboat for 3 nights and it was a good memorable experience as far as the stay is concerned. We had visited just at the fag end of winter, and it was still quite cold. The houseboat housed 3 rooms, out of which we did occupy 2 for 2 families. The rooms were sufficiently big and decently clean, there was a hint of dampness with the thick carpet and wooden decor, but that was bit expected. The living room area had sufficient seating, a TV and most importantly a fireplace for room heating. Bathrooms are sufficiently huge, with even a bathtub facility. However 2/3 days we didn't get sufficient water for bathing. Due to cold, a quick cleanup was sufficient :) Breakfast and dinner was included in our package, there was limited variety but served hot. There was provision of pickup and drop from the main road to houseboat via a Shikara boat.
