This is a cozy property located close to the Dal Lake. The owner of the place is an epitome of wonderful service. He called us to check the estimated arrival time to send the cab to the airport. Small things like this which are overlooked by others add to customer's delight. He also arranges taxi at reasonable price.

We were heading to leh next morning so it was just a days stopover in Srinagar. We stayed in JH Bazaz in the month of july 2016. 5 min walk from main road. Its a affordable decent and comfortable guest house near dal lake. Owner was quite hospitable and guided us well on our srinagar trip.

I stayed with my friends in this hotel fir 7 days . The staff is welcoming as a family room is well equiped Ac, cold & hot water .But loved it and may be I will Come back in several year Thanks..................................

This was my second visit to Srinagar and I'm so glad that I could stay at Hotel J H Bazaz this time. (It was all booked when I visited the last time). While the place has all necessary features of a great place to stay - value for money, good location, clean rooms, good food, cozy place with a home like feel; it is the unparalleled hospitality offered by Sarwar and his staff that make this place stand out. Sarwar went out of his way in helping us with quite a few travel related issues. We'll always be thankful for his kindness. He'd always check on us for our well-being and safety, given the current situation. The situation is not as troublesome for tourists as it often seems. The people of Kashmir are lovely and tourists shouldn't face any trouble. If you are traveling to Srinagar, stay here and experience warm Kashmiri hospitality! Thank you for this experience Sarwar!

Very reasonable quality-price relation, for a well located, clean, guest house with a great cook. The owner and his staff were most kind and arranging excursions and solving whatever problems we had. They were also attentive at us not getting lost given the ongoing situation in kashmir, which Ill say is more peaceful than depicted.
