First things first, this place is for the ones who understand the difference between a hotel and a homestay. Because the owners neither are, nor pretend to be hotel-like.
Now the place, run by illahm and his mother is a place where you want to sample kashmiri hospitality. They are concerned if you're daughter isn't wearing right amount of clothes. They will call and ask if you have reached the destination safely. Or they'll ask that if you're late, will you have food?
The rooms are nice, clean and cozy, those are the basics. But people make this place awesome.
Special mention to the driver they had suggested. Muneer. One awesome guy. He was the one who made the entire trip effortless.
This is a family run inn and the owners are wonderful hosts. I mean they can help you with everything, from airport pick-up service to planning and arranging travel itinerary. I was travelling as a solo female traveller and this place was just like my home.
Hospitality was unquestionably its best. The room was spacious, cosy, very clean.
If you're looking forward to a comfortable, affordable and an astonishing place to be in, then this is the place to opt for.
This is a family run place and it wouldn't be fair if I just say that their hospitality was good. In-fact I felt like home there. They are very eager in helping the guests and keep looking for opportunities to help. May it be the Airport pickup/drop, travel advise, vehicle arrangements, and not to mention their super tasty Kashmiri food, they do it all and in style.. Hospitality is all about making the guests so comfortable that the guests are not hesitant to seek out for help.. Forget comfortable, I was literally feeling like one among them.. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and I loved the wooden interiors.. The compound walls are big and you can wander around their beautiful garden and lawn with privacy.. Enough said. If you are looking for an amazing experience in hospitality and to try out super tasty food, look no further.. This is the place..
The place felt like a second home. The owners are extremely comforting, inclusive and accomodative. They almost immediately make you feel like family. The room was very cozy, clean and well done. Service was prompt and you can be assured of your needs being taken care of.
After more than a week in India, where the accommodation conditions were precarious, we came to this oasis of cleanliness, tranquility, good and open people, serene and benevolent. I felt the goodness in the air and then became visible in concrete actions.
Whenever you arrive in Srinagar, stay at Ikraam Inn and you will feel like home, both in its own and figurative. Benefit from all the conditions so that you feel great.
I was personally impressed by the warmth, the availability, the kindness, the attention and the inner beauty of these peoples - for after all man sanctifies the place and these people even sanctify the place where you are received with great warmth and kindness.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for this experience!
