This is an old houseboat. Furniture, wooden flooring is now breaking & making noise. Service is not fast but food quality is nice. House owner & his family members are very cooperative & helpful. He always asked about our needs, advised and arranged transport at a very affordable rate. We enjoyed our stay with homely feeling. However there is an need of wooden flooring and furniture repairing. Towels and linen were not changed on daily basis.

The most amazing stay in Kashmir I could have asked for. The houseboat was beautiful, elegant and peaceful. The pristine and serene beauty of Nigeen Lake was an unforgettable experience. The staff gave us a very warm and homely reception along with delicious food.

The golden flower houseboat is excellent. We stayed in that houseboat for 4 nights and it was really amazing. Mr yakub , the owner of that houseboat is really a very kind hearted and helpful person. His hospitality is really very good and one should visit his houseboat during any trip to Srinagar. I'll definitely visit his houseboat only, if I visit Kashmir again.

We were 6 friends took good care of our brother. Like all family met our needs. The food was very excellent build. It was a good team and his family worked. He was approximately -6 cold this winter, he did not realize ..... I miss your kahwa yakoob bhai..

We were six friends from indore and stayed in new golden flower houseboat at nagin lake for 3 nights. It was very cold during night -6 c but the owner provided sach type of heating in rooms that we could not feel the cold. The food was cooked like home made and service was first class. We recommend this houseboat to everyone how will visit in Kashmir in future.
