Stayed here for two nights.staff is very friendly and helpful.service is great . wifi is also available that too free. rooms are big and clean. food is tasty and quality is also great. the hotel is also having a big garden which most of hotels lack in Srinagar. the location of hotel is great ..the area is pollution and noise free..the mughal gardens are very close to hotel. Dal lake is very close to hotel..this hotel is closest to famous hazratbal shrine..hotel is having big parking zone..really enjoyed there..

Stay only if travelling on low budget Stay only if travelling on low budget

We were friends travelling on budget. Didn't have food here but saw guests fighting over food quality and delay. There's nothing I can complain since it is cheap and for that price everything was good. Staff was very friendly. Will not recommend for couples as it is little away from srinagar and is in a kinda secluded place. Transportation is bad, you'll have to walk around 700 meters to get a auto rickshaw. Overall Average resort, prefer boat house instead for same price. PS: Travelled in Nov. 2015

Budget hotel. Not a good location. It is near hazratbal. Back side of dal lake. Food quality is average. Restaurant food quality is very low not tasty food. Cloths price is high. Kaser n drifrutes price are normal. Subha checkout morning me karna tha hamne reception par bola ki breakfast pack karwa dena par kisi ne nahi diya. Staff se pucha to mana kar diya aur reception par koi nahi tha. Sare so rahe the. ..... in short Normal Hotel.

Poorly lit rooms and average amenities Poorly lit rooms and average amenities

by Amit_Mathur77 on October 2, 2016

We stayed here for three nights and had been given 301 & 308. Initially we were given 305 but that did not have any carpet and on request changed to 308. Why different rooms for the same price, no one could answer!! However, 308 also had issues with bad smell in the bathroom. They could not eliminate the source of smell and kept spraying room freshener. Rooms: Poorly lit with very few operational plug points. The wardrobe did not have any hangers. Good thing is that electric under blankets were provided even for the extra bed. The window glasses are completely opaque, you cannot see anything outside the window giving the room a claustrophobic feel. The doorbell is absolutely the cheapest I have ever seen / heard, with a horrible loud sound. It plays instrumental film song loudly, a voice comes lastly from door bell and says 'Please Open the Door'. The person who would have done all this probably does not know how hotels are supposed to be. Bathroom: Poorly lit bathroom with no hooks to hang clothes. Just one small towel rail to hang everything. Several tiles in the bathroom were broken and chipped. The slope of floor is improper due to which there is water accumulation as it does not drain off completely. Amenities: Only one soap given for hand wash and bathing, had to ask for more. On one of the days, only one towel was provided for three people. No hand towels or face towels provided. Other amenities like shampoo, moisturiser, etc which are usually standard now in all hotels, were absent. Food: The restaurant is in the basement with few tables and chairs. It even removes food from the counter before the declared time of 10:00 am. My parents reached at 9:50 am and the buffet was removed. We ordered for bread omelet and paratha which was quickly served. However bread did not come along with the omelet, when asked for it, the steward brought a packet to the table and gave plain bread. He looked blank when we said we want the bread to be toasted. The dinner was okay and nothing great to talk about. The Chef was very polite and apologetic for our poor experience and receptive to our suggestions as well. The front desk staff did seem to be bothered about the feedback we gave. No apologies, no concern displayed. They know you would not be returning but they forget social media can make or break image of any establishment.
