1) empty rum bottle left by a previous passenger that housekeeping omitted to clear before we checked in 2) the bathroom was quite shabby and decrepit 3)no hot water at all despite assurances by the management. after wasting 10 buckets of cold water, we gave up and had a cold water bath 4) the lift buttons are oddly numberd - you have to press 5 for a 4 level room 5) the original room allotted had broken taps and leakages in the bathroom. They agreed to change the room but the bathroom wasn't much better. There was no foormat outside the bathroom but it was promptly provided when requested. 6) LCD TV was a good surprise. 7)Too much noise from the adjacent bus stand despite being in the AC room. The window/door wasn't soundproofed very well. All in all, an average experience. Will not go back again.

Dirty bedsheets with stains i think those aren't food stains by the look of it. Dirty toilet and expensive. The walk in is just before and alcohol den. Do yourself a favour and Find yourself something better around this area!

The hotel is situated near an important crossing with much trafic. Because all Indian drivers seem to horn every 20 seconds, it is a very noisy place, starting very early in the morning when the busses in the nearby busstation start their rounds. The hotel has nice rooms for a good price, but there is no restaurant so that you have to find your food ( including breakfast) outside. They have an aelevator and wifi is available in the lobby. On the same road there are some restaurants and a bar.The rooms were clean and had AC.

Decent hotel for the price you pay. I paid Rs 700 for a Non AC room. The room was decent though the bathroom was shoddy. The TV only has Tamil channels except for a couple. There are some eating options around. Near the new bus stand and easy to get public transport to the Big Temple, Railway station etc.

Please ask them to add check-in time column, They didn't arrange room when i reach 5am. they given MD toilet for refreshment. by 1 pm only i came and given dirty room. Waste of money by booking online.

We stayed at Annamalai hotel for 2 nights and my experience is mixed.Reception is good but the hotel is average as there is problem with lighting and furnishings. One good thing is the hotel is located next to new bus stand and good restaurants nearby. Hygeine is average with bad maintenance. Also, cleartrip mentioned higher rates and with the 50% discount provided by cleartrip, we got the normal rate which hotel provides directly.
