We enjoyed our two night stay here. The room was large with a separate dressing room. It was great to sit on our upstairs balcony and watch the bullock carts collecting sand from the river bank. The swimming pool is huge and very clean. The gardens are very well kept.We found the staff to be helpful. We never eat buffet dinners (previous bad experience, although not here!) so can't comment on the quality. The a la carte menu is quite expensive by Indian standards but the food fine. Felt that the Indian items at breakfast were aimed at Europeans - masala dosas not spicy and coconut chutney not spicy - shame about that. Tried to contact our family in UK and USA but struggled with the Wifi connection. Apart from these minor issues we were pleased with this hotel.
