Perfect destination to relax from mechanical routine life. Excellent hospitality and nice ambience. Night safari is awesome in addition to the cozy camp fire.. Excellent cusinie and fantastic overall experience.. Very much satisfied and suggest all to visit at least once..
The resort is very close to nature, but far off from the highway and difficult to find. The night safari is organised by the resort, but one can hardly see any animal. There is no TV or AC in the room. But rest all facilities are available.
A good holiday spot, Really Wild as the name. Cleanliness, Amazong views & staff is super friendly with the best scenery and the cottage stay... Ideal getaway for any season ! The calm and peaceful natural surroundings with indeed tall... One of the best stay ever!
Nice location, nice food n hospitality thanks to Rohit and manjunath for our comfort there...quite far from main road but we enjoyed our stay at wild camp.....good 2 pools n play area also ....we eally suggest people to visit atleast once .....u definitely like the spot which os not regular resort...
Wild Camp.. the name itself might not sound too impressive.. and the "Gardan restaurant" description and the emphasis on "bar" on the stone paintings over the bad road would further dampen you.. but trust me.. you are in for a sweet surprise.. (Disclaimer: I am not an experienced reviewer. So might not conform to a specific school of thought.. views expressed are entirely mine.) Decided to go with mommy daddy to this place, solely on the things read in the print ads and good photographs on the net, and a few phonecalls made to the resort. As always, went with an open mind to gain a new experience.. and we got a very nice one indeed. If there are somethings, I am going to remember this place by is, they are: A nice place for a short family outing.Excellent staff (these are trained adivasi youth from the neighboring villages) and serviceNice homely foodAn excellent drive (important: take the Wada route, you'll thank me later) This place is an honest effort to start a resort in a place, not very far from Mumbai (around 2-3 hours away).. the village not being very developed.. with Adivasis living a tough life out there. And that honesty is seen in every aspect of this place. A simple construction, nothing flashy, but quite functional and hygienic. It is basically a place which encourages you to live close to nature with only a few people around you. So no TVs in the room. No wifi. Some networks were off (as expected, Airtel among them). But this infact, worked in a good way. You actually wanted to be out of your rooms, talk to people around you. And they provide a good environment to do that. Mind you, there isn't much civilisation around the resort. Still ideal for people who like taking walks into wilderness. Right from the sweet and simple ice-breaker games at the campfire session, to the swimming pools, indoor games facilities (table tennis, badminton, snooker, carrom, chess), trekking paths, good flower gardening, and the well mannered, helpful and friendly staff. There is also an open jeep night safari, but did not go for it. It's very rare to spot any wild animals there. Most of the commercial resorts have reached a place where the staff is over friendly, and you can sense the greed behind getting a good feedback rating, in their service. This is pleasantly missing here. (You have the option of doing some social work, by giving clothes and other stuff to these adivasi villages) If you are looking to go for a quick simple peaceful 2 day break from the hustle bustle of the city along with your family (and are okay forgoing the plush amenities of the over commercial resorts), certainly a good option to try.
