1. Nice Accomodation, 2. Ample care part in rear. 3. No running hot water. Even after requesting. Had to take cold water shower. 4. Room service is good. 5. Room cleaning is good. 6. Restaurant is Average. Would recommend having food at Hotel Arya's , just opposite to hotel. 7. Breakfast is monotonous, can have variety. I would think twice before booking here again.
We recently stayed for 3 nights at ABM Grande at Mullai room. The room was spacious.King size bed was comfortable. We were 3 adults and a chile. Extra mattress was provided for additional charge and the room had space for it. Bathroom was clean with required amenities, Additional towels were provided on request. There was no supply of hot water even at 830 am, even after calling the reception, we didn't get it. Looks like they use solar and the weather was not cooperating. If you are looking for a hot shower, then this is definitely not the place. Restaurant was ok, wouldn't rate it good. Felt that their mix of masala in the dishes was not right. We had to dine out couple of days, also we were looking for Veg Only kind of setup. The Hotels opposite were good (esp. Arya's). Room service was fast. Breakfast was complimentary and was sufficient though it was lacking variety. The room had a mosquitoes coming in from the opening in bathroom. The hotel staff provided 'All Out' liquid on request. On the whole , I would sum it up as an average stay experience. They can improve on service.
Our tour group stopped for a short tea break and to purchase liquor. It was massive chaos. Staff tried to rip off one member by overcharging 150 rps for some drinks. Some people ordered drinks and never got it. Rather shabby place. Although they had some cute caged parakeets at the entrance.
We recently stayed for 2 nights at ABM Grande at Malligai room. The room was spacious & well ventilated, too ventilated that the window door could not be closed tight, thus allowing not only air, stench & noise, but also swarm of mosquitoes...sleepless nights! There was no supply of hot water, the room telephone wasn't working, & we had to use our roaming calls to call for any assistance required! The onky redeeming feature were the front office people, who expressed their helplessness...the restaurant was good with ready to serve pleasing staff! I shall think twice before booking this hotel again...
