It is located at Press Road and has many eateries nearby. A neat and clean hotel with excellent housekeeping. Beakfast wasn't great as they have limited options. Hotel lacks proper parking. Of course it is a good budget hotel!
Location, room size, and service are good. Nearby eateries make life easy. Auto rickshaws at hotel door. Staff friendly. Breakfast average with limited options more suitable for Indian tourists. Cleanliness deserves appreciation.
Our room had no towels, toilet paper or functioning shower. We called for room service and they said the majority of the menu was unavailable. We asked for a late check out and were told by reception staff they didnt know if there were any available rooms as their computer was down and had no idea how many guests were currently at the hotel, nor how many were due to arrive. Hostels in Kerala were better than this hotel by far.
The hotel does not look like the pictures.
i had booked the hotel after checking for the address on line ,i call direct as i have now started feeling that many of the booking sites do not portray or exactly reflect the quality or standards of the stay including level of comfort ,always ask for a large standard double bedroom irrespective of whether your the single occupant oryou have a partner with you,you need an national identity card ,a socalled aadhar card with an aadhar number which will immediately reflect almost everydetail on line ,if travelling as a group ,you may be better off with one person or the group leader being an indian citizen with absolutely clean credentials ,since i travel single on transient corporate i sometimes get a discount and since i book direct with the hotel a little more my plan was a continental plan and since my return was teaving by parashuram by 6 am ,i had enough of time for a shower, packed everything ,bills were all prepared the previous night itself ,the restaurant MARHABA is fine dining with food piping hot made to order, asince i had work to complete had missed lunch due to a late arrival to a place called neyyatinkara to pursue some work as a noninvasive cardiologist/professor of cardiology at the NIMS noorul islam medical gheart institute,by the time i had reeached the hospital it was 4 in the afternoon with the train 2.5 hrs late, india doent care a damn to punctuality nor accountabilitity with an i dont care attitudes on public secvtor undertakings, the night was uneventful ,room airconditioned ,had a cup of freshly made tea with onion pakoras as a wecoming break and the the a chicken fried rice for dinner all made to order, the return train on 10 th yesterday was by parashram from trivandrum to mangalore,i had made an advanced booking had some interesting passengers on a pilgrimage to see and attend mata amritananda mayis birthday celebrations originally scheduled for 27 th of september and this year celebrated on 9 th october ,my nature of work which includes hospital adminstration ,senior consultant physician, cardiologist ,diabetologist, occupational and environmental physician and pediatric cardiologist ,so entails considerable responsibility ,anyeway i was in office by 10 .30 am and attended to the days work and so altogether fine hotel fine dining ,and total bill with gst under 2000 rs /day in the heart of trivandrum, rgds to many more travellers ,rememberHOTEL TOWN TOWER ,SOUTH GATE -GOVT SECRETARIAT PRESS ROAD TRIVANDRUM 695001 PHONE 04712334949,MOB 94470 65591 ASK FOR NITIN AT DESK ,E MAIL IN adv if from OVERSEAS,email@example.com
We were 4 of us, 2 kids and 2 adults. We had booked standard room with triple bed, but there was just 1 cot which could accomadate 2 of us. They gave us extra mattress for 2 people. The rooms are really small. The A/C was also not working. The buffet breakfast hardly had any choice.
The only good part of this hotel is its location, it is centrally located and close by to all tourist places and staff were good and cordial.
If you walk around the MG Road, you can find lot more good hotels with good food option.
