Room was good. Food and service was pathetic. Veg and non-veg mixed with impunity that put Taj brand name to shame. Almost every veg item had meat mixed in it due to being prepared with same vessels/hands/cutlery alternating with non-veg.

The hotel is so nice as well as staff are so professionals. The wifi is too slow to surf. Please looking forward to improve the standard package. Compared to other hotels the standard package is really slow. Thank you.

I have been to fifth element three or four times during last two years recently a week ago went for lunch with a Few of my friends ..It was a pleasant experience and the buffet as usual was varied and desserts very tasty...The rotis n other breads were delicious n warm ..If I want to really pick on something then I really didn't like their tomato soup strange it tastes ok in every restaurant!!...Had some wierd smell...But other than that rest of our lunch was very good.....The staff service as always very courteous n prompt...Would like go there and try their buffet again

Overall the experience was great , from a service point all the staff were very courteous and helpful from the time we stepped in.Food was great.I would have expected something complimentary at least a drop off to the airport or a pickup.I even ended up paying for a Glass of milk.

We spent one night at the hotel on our way out of Kerala due to an early flight. Check in was smooth, hotel lobby looks nice and has a coffee shop, Chinese restaurant and a multi cuisine restaurant. Our allocated room was fine with a view of the pool - quite bright and well lit. Bed was comfortable too. We had a quick late lunch at the main restaurant and it was fine (comes with Taj price tag). We did not try the lunch buffet - just a light lunch. For dinner we ate at the Chinese restaurant. Food was quite good. I used the sauna/steam facility that evening but was unimpressed - the area was not clean, someone had left their smelly gym clothes hanging in the change room - it was there the entire evening, there were no towels available (had to go grab one from the ladies area with my wife's help) and no water to drink either (also only in the gym). Next morning our flight was quite early so I asked the front desk to arrange a transfer. I had mentioned this at check-in but rang to confirm. The man I spoke to said he will ring back in 10-mins but didn't so I rang again. The woman I spoke to this time started indicating that a car may not be available. She rang back a little later confirming that. I then asked her to arrange an external taxi. She asked me to do that myself and started to give me a phone number. This surprised me. I suggested that she should call and organise it instead as negotiating with the local taxi company was not something I was looking forward to. She was rude and refusing to do that. I had to be very firm with her in reminding that this is a service any decent hotel offers worldwide. Reluctantly she agreed to make the arrangements and called back to confirm this later. We had also organised a packed breakfast which was disappointing (no juices as they claimed not to have takeaway juice despite telling us the previous day that it will be included, an old and slightly dry muffin and doughnut and some cut fruit). We have stayed at a number of Taj or Vivanta properties in India and I must say that overall this was below the usual standard that we experience.

A good experience where the hotel is well located in the city and the staff is very warm and provides full support. A good experience and a comfortable stay. The food has a variety and had caters for all type of taste.
