Been in December to the hotel Average rooms and service In house restaurant boasts of internationally cuisine but have few to offer Located near to the Shaktan Thamburan Bus stand which plies buses to all parts of Thrissur Away from main attractions like the Thrissur Round and other famous tourist locations
We celebrated our son's first birthday party in Joys Palace on October 20 2016 and the services provided by the management and the staff, particularly Mr Jain was exemplary. The food was really delicious and the ambience was very nice, Should a need arise in future we will of course choose your hospitality.
My husband and I have been in India since Dec 29, 2016 and this was the best meal so far. I saw a flyer for a "candlelight" meal while waiting for the elevator and decided to ask about it when we were seated for dinner. Given this was a spontaneous request, they pulled off some wonderful magic for this meal. We were seated on a large yet intimate balcony, all to ourselves. Our waitstaff, Archawa and Vivek, were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The table was strewn with rose petals and white flowers. It was very lovely. Chef Rawfudeen came out to meet us and discuss foods we currently enjoy. Since we enjoy a broad range of foods and spices, his only limits were for veg starter and entree for me, otherwise, we were open to what he might want to cook. We started with a flaverful ginger prawn soup and finished desert with strawberry ice cream, dragon fruit and a heart shaped date cake. The day had been a little stressful so this meal was exactly what we needed. The restaurant manager, Binu R. was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful evening that will be followed by a good night's sleep in clean beds in rooms on par with any Western hotel back home, if not better. I look forward to staying here again. Stayed at hotel for 2 nights on Indian tour. Centrally located with easy walk to markets. This is older Hotel so don't expect newer conviences. Clean rooms but over zealous staff seamed to be always watching and wanting to charge you for extra water. Food at breakfast and lunch buffets was very good and varied. Beware if you order omelet in group you might want to wait on it as 1 group member waited 40 minutes for hers and had to reorder as communication of staff not greatest. Laundry is inexpensive here! Has large party rooms so maybe geared for large Indian wedding parties. Overall ok but not a 5 star hotel. Elevators have facade openings so you get city view on your rides up and down.
Been here on many occasions. The place is situated walkable distance from shakthan stand. The rooms are clean, spacious and well set. The lines and the bathrooms are clean. Rooms service is prompt. The attached hotel serves good food with a variety of choices on the menu. The halls are spacious and ideal for parties and meetings.
