This hotel really offers a good stay and good and helpful staff along with variety of breakfast options in the morning which is actually included in the room price and but only it's quite far from the main city and not many transport will be available from this point of location.
But still I had a pleasant stay here.

check-in took 5-6 minutes. Clean rooms with basic amenities. Affordable stay and ideal for business trips.
Room service is a BIG issue and language seems to be the cause.
Staff is helpful at the reception.
Breakfast spread is decent and eggs can be made to order.
Note : please carry your dental kit and shaving kit as you have to pay extra if you order from the hotel.
In tirupur Ginger is Huge room for Marriage groups. Thanks yoga for given a special price for the marriage. All service was excellent.Am expecting same service in future and also i recommended the front office staff malar / srikanth / prabharan taking care of my guest with happiness....
y is fairly easy to locate. Checkin was swift and the reception staff was pleasant. The reception did have a rather stale unpleasant smell. The problems started almost right away. I couldn't enter the room as the key card machine didn't prepare the key card correctly. Looks like others were facing this issue as well. So after waiting for 3-5 minutes, I could get into the room.
Next surprise, no refrigerator, this was also fixed as one was bought and placed in about 5 minutes.
The room itself was nice and for those not aware Ginger was built on the concept of providing a good clean comfortable bed, a good clean bath, some working space and very basic service. For most business travelers, that's what they need, solidly reliable cleanliness and nowadays of course a good internet connection.
The bed was comfortable, the window AC adequate and the writing table and chair were fine. The linen could have been nicer but hey I don't think it was bad in anyway.
The bath door however had some stains on the outside - you can see the picture. The bath itself was a disappointment. There was mold on the ceiling (there's no vent fan even though it's fully enclosed), the lighting over the wash basin was inadequate and the lone bath towel was fraying at the edges but clean. I don't expect great amenities and in fact prefer my own toiletries but if you are going to leave a bar of soap, it should not have a smashed insect on the cover! I was disappointed. A little bit of care and design thought and this could have been excellent.
The internet connection was a disappointment. I couldn't connect to the network from the desk but if I got my computer near the door, it would work. It worked fine in the reception lobby. However, I don't see why it should not work reliably inside the room. Note - I didn't escalate this to the reception as my mobile internet was working well and there's was no pressing need for Wi-Fi.
Finally, the AC from above was dripping water onto my window air conditioner causing enough noise to wake me up. I spoke to the reception and the lady who I think might be the manager said she'd take care of it by placing a towel on my AC for the night. I left at that time and when I came back at night, the towel was not in place. This however was addressed quickly by the staff on duty (and thankfully if I may add). Just when I thought I was done, it started raining - my room was near the reception and that area has a courtyard that's opens up all the floors. Good idea, except the roof is some kind of plastic that makes a lot of noise when it rains. So just as I was nodding off, I was woken up and had to take a look outside to see what was happening. My first reaction was - why is the staff cleaning the reception/restaurant at this time? That's a design flaw Ginger architects will need to understand (architects and interior designer must be made to stay in the stuff they design!).
Checkout was smooth as there were no additional charges - I pretty much just walked out.
Note - I did fill out the survey sent out by Ginger a few days back and have noted all of the above but have not heard back as yet. I'll also add a note to management - you can fix a lot of your bathroom vows by providing better ventilation and lighting. All of the problems I've listed are quite easy to fix.
All in all a very mixed bag and if not for the discounted rate I got through an online travel portal, I would have said it's NOT value for money. At the discounted rate, it was value for money though with some proper maintenance, this place can be better, a lot better.
The key question - Will I stay there again? I don't know, I think I'll shop around and only come back if the other options are not better.
