A luxury where you least expect it! A luxury where you least expect it!

I stayed at this cozy resort in September 19th and 20th 2017.Stayed in the presidential suite! Since it is situated in Tura(visiting first time) with all the disturbances that used to be present,I was not having high expectation from a hotel. I had read some earlier review before visiting but..... the resort was way better!...it's a very aesthetically designed suite with a unique and spacious bathroom.....with all amenities that you get in a 5 star hotel.my room was facing the hill therefore had a beautiful view ....the staff was very courteous and helpful throughout the stay....coming to food which I consider an important aspect of a quality hotel, the food was also great! We tried the chicken fried rice and chilly chicken which turned out to be tasting just how it should. For breakfast,we ordered paneer paratha and Aloo Paratha which was so tasty and so soft that it made my day! Looking forward to keep returning to the hotel for all my future visits to Tura

A true adventurers hotel a.k.a you don't go to Tura for 5 star resorts! A true adventurers hotel a.k.a you don't go to Tura for 5 star resorts!

This town is very remote: 3 hr flight from Delhi, 5 hour drive from airport. So this is your typical adventurer hotel - single beds, no mini bar, no bar for that matter. Not even soft drinks. Water pressure that weakens under the pressure of several guests. Wifi that collapses when a couple of people connect and a tv that says it has satellite but you can't even get it to work. Although my colleague managed to watch some cricket. Staff don't have good English but came up straight away to fix a tap and my safe. I felt very safe and that my personal items were secure. I had a big room with a balcony overlooking the car park. We did have air con but didn't need it. You can hear everything. The room did have a kettle and gave out bottles of water each day. There was also a restaurant and function room that we used for a presentation and team meals. All ok but I think our team brought in a lot of supplies. Apparently this is the best hotel in the area and our local guides regularly stay here. If you know what to expect - it's not that bad.

Safe Location, excellent amenities Safe Location, excellent amenities

The hotel is adjacent to a security establishment. Whether that makes it safe or vulnerable is subjective. While there were hardly any views through the windows or from the balcony, the room was wonderful. Very spacious with a large balcony... overlooking the security camp, though. Checking in, and till I checked out six days later, every service person in this hotel delivered an excellent service. The flip side is that the food available is North Indian, which is NOT what I wished for in the Garo Hills during my six-day stay here. To satiate my desires, the variety outside proved excellent. The hotel is in the outskirts of the town, so getting around minus a hired vehicle can be a challenge. Also, plastic does not work at all times as connectivity is an issue... best advised to pay a reasonable advance using the card while checking in. Else, carry cash.

Poorly managed Poorly managed

Today I checked in the hotel with a thought that it should be at par with the brand. Sadly the external part is unkempt and poorly maintained though it seems it has many staff all engrossed over net. It has the potential to be excellent but as always management is quite crucial. Not recommended for any value visitor.
