Location: ~30 kms from Udaipur city. Its a great location for those who like to be away from the bustle of the city. It overlooks a lake with the hills in the distance. Rooms: Very clean, with large windows that give the lake view. Food: This was probably the only problem. Food was reasonable - neither too good nor terrible. Entertainment: Hotel organized a rajashthani folk dance evening along with a puppet show. Very entertaining. We had an excellent stay. Would strongly recommend the Heritage Resort.
Staffs were average in their service. Room was fine having all the facilities. I had my dinner and breakfast in the restaurant it was nice in taste. It was just an average stay in this hotel.
I & my wife never had such a warm welcome anywhere in our individual lives, ofcourse this was our first trip together after marriage on the 10th Feb...it was a truly superb experience & i have already recommended the hotel to my family members & friends. I am sure they would love during the stay. Hearty congratulations to Mr Tushar Bhandari for creating such a wonderful resort & the entire team of heritage for such a warm welcome n make our stay memorable.
It was a massive property with amazing interior and beautiful room. The staff was professional and make me feel relax. The food facility was also royal and location was outstanding. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
The Superior Room was well maintained. Service was above my expectation. The food was excellent. Hotel is far from the city.

Wonderful place to stay with family. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the food and hospitality. There's scope to improve for sure. Visited while on our way to Nathdwara. Nice weekend stay over. Little high on price.
I just visited this place on 25 to 27 Aug '16. It has a good view of the bagela lake and saas bahu temple. Food is good but very very expensive. Staff here is cooperative and always happy to help. Outdoor maintained very well. This place has a small pool, don't go by the photo from the hotel's website. I feel the management should relook on the in room finishing and maintenance. This is very poor. Rooms not properly ventilated. Earthing needs to be checked in room no 105 as switching on geyser you get a current on shower knobs. But my over all stay here was good as it didn't have Wi-Fi and as d resort's location which is on top of a hill u get less cellular network so u can relax totally with your family and friends.
The resort is good. The property, the location, the rooms. But it lacks on hospitality. You expect a warm welcome after a long drive but you'll be disappointed. You expect neat room service while you are away. But the biggest disappointment is the food. You neither get variety nor quality in breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. Choose this resort if you do not care much about the hospitality and want to spend some quality time in a quiet, solitary place, with a scenic view of the lake and a cool breeze in the evening over the terrace bar.
We had plans to visit Udaipur in December 2015. After reading the "excellent" reviews of this "4-star lake-facing resort", we were sold. Made the reservations, paid the advance and showed up in the evening as planned. And, we were sorely disappointed. For one thing, it was winter and the room was freezing. There was no central heating. Upon request, they provided us the one space heater they had, but even that was useless. All it did was warm one side of the bed. To make things worse, I was traveling with my 1 year old. I held him close all night, praying that he should not catch hypothermia. The dinner service was a disappointment too. I have eaten better food at roadside dhabas. This was definitely not 4-star fare. Our room was supposed to be the lake-facing one. Well, in the morning, we look out of the window and see.....a murky pond with stagnant, algae-filled water. Not what I had in mind at all. Well, by then, we had had enough. We cut short our stay there and promptly reserved a room at the Ramada. Luckily, their card machine was not working, so all we ended up paying for our stay was the advance. Lesson learnt: stick with the big hotel chains. And don't always go by the reviews.
Stayed in March with family and friends for 2 nights in the Grand Lake View Room. Its a good resort situated by the lake and surrounded by hills. you take a detour from the National Highway 8 outside of Udaipur on way to Nathdwara. Look for the board saying 'Heritage Girls School' which is a school belonging to same group. The rooms are large, neat and clean and bathrooms too are neat and big enough with electric water heater. power backup is in place. the best part in the room is the the Jharokha in the room with great views of lake and hills. we saw some monkeys and a fox from our room Jharokha. No Wifi in room. Mobile signals too are very weak. which is a good way to disconnect from work, whatsapp, FB etc. and rather spend time with family and friends amidst nature. the front office however allows you to check emails and stuff on thier PC for no charge. The food is OK. little spicy so please be specific if you do not prefer spicy food. the spread during breakfast, lunch or dinner is not a great one. they could add a few more items in the buffet. the rooms service items are little over priced. carry some snacks with you if going with family. you can also carry your own liquor. we asked for beer but it was not in stock. we had to drive 3 km to the highway to get it. There is a activity room with Table tennis, carom, chess etc but it is in a bad shape so do not count on it The outdoors are very peaceful and serene. There a small pool which is good for a dip. its clean but has leaves from the trees nearby and a few insects. Evenings are very pleasant. spend time at the terrace just above the restaurant it a good place for a chilled beer or a Hot cup of coffee or tea. This place is best visited during rainy season. Staff is helpful and courteous. Overall a good stay with a few adjustments.
