Good room, medium reception Good room, medium reception

The room is clean, big and pretty, painting the wall, hot water, comfortable mattresses, pillows very hard !! what a pity that the staff does not speak English because the managers are not the day. Wrong incomprehension on prices, price 430rps night and as we arrived early in the morning it us after half an additional day at the end 640rps (first time during our two-month trip) and upon payment again it does not accept money in "bad" condition! (Which is ironic in India), luckily Guru to the other manager was friendly with us! What a shame to finish by this reception, negative point ! =/

Beautiful place facing the lake Beautiful place facing the lake

Felt like we were staying at some palace in the true sense. The rooms are tastefully done retaining their heritage. The place has a very royal look and feel. Definitely a place to stay and soak in the ethereal experience.

Comfortable Heritage Hotel Comfortable Heritage Hotel

Rooms on second floor are great. Beds are comfortable but firm. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Rooms at lake edge are dark and stuffy, not recommended. Bar fridge was not very effective. Bathroom was clean but shower curtain should really be replaced with glass panel. Sitting outside room watching the sun set is great. The dining room is not inviting. Table cloths were not crisp and clean. Breakfast was dodgy and as no animal products are consumed, breads and porridge are offered. Those were stale and unappetizing.

Great place Great place

Really great hotel! It was close to the centre of town, (about a 5 minute walk to restaurants, the city palace and Pichhola lake,) but nicely removed from all the noise and traffic of town. The bedroom was clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. There is no air conditioning but the ceiling fans worked fine when trying to keep cool. There is also a roof terrace with a pool table and lots of comfortable places to sit, which was great for the evenings. The owner Guddu was incredibly friendly - he met all our needs and joined us for a game of pool. Would definitely stay again!

3 star olde world charm with Lake views 3 star olde world charm with Lake views

Our tour accommodation was supposed to be "deluxe" so I was a bit dismayed when we arrived at the Pushkar Palace.Certainly high tech modern technology was not to be seen at the front desk check in BUT the service and friendliness of the staff was lovely. This former Palace with its long open verandah in front of all the rooms was very quaint and very appealing. Huge wooden doors opened to Olde worlde bedrooms-we had booked super deluxe rooms however I think this must have been because we were on the 3rd floor- it was hardly deluxe let alone super deluxe I was sharing with another lady - we had 2 single beds- the highest beds off the floor I have ever seen. The olde world bathroom with huge shower head , over the large old fashioned bath shared the room with a "dressing area' Unfortunately the air con didn't work - it blew out hot air , luckily we had the use of a ceiling fan. Our evening meal was fabulous with huge portions. Our breakfast was really nice.We had great views over the Lake from our verandah and we were only a stones throw from the shops .Would I stay here again- well Yes - it had a certain charm of its own, was quiet and very good service - but certainly not deluxe accommodation. We travelled as 2 Mums with their 2 kids who were a couple. Pushkar is an Important spiritual town as well as home to the annual camel fair- we were not here during this time
