I booked a room in Hotel Swaroop Vilas Udaipur for the 10th and 11th Jan and I was totally disappointed with both travelguu and the hotel,more so travelguru for the following reasons. a) Despite by credit card payment well in advance on 8th Jan, When we checked in we were advised by the hotel that they received payment on the morning of 10th Jan . b) We were given basement rooms of what seemed to be rooms made out of storage rooms with walls in front when the hotel had lake facing rooms which were vacant but they insisted that those were full. c) The rooms had no cross ventilation . d) For a 3 star hotel the rooms did not have a somple cupboard. e) When I asked for tea service on 11th morning,it took 20 minutes to serve a cup of tea and it was honestly the worst cup of brewed tea. f) When we asked what was the cancellation or refund policy ,they said that we should talk to travelguru and theywould not given any refund. g) a Boutique hotel in Rajasthan had only 2 Rajasthani vegetable dishes on its menu for a land rich in food.
