If you looking for heritage hotel to experience, this is it! Breakfast buffet is included. Staff is very friendly despite negative review. I noticed only one guy being little rude but ignored him. Roof top restaurant is too good. Food is standard decent - loved it! Cocktail- Mocktail so good. All in all I recommend this hotel. Request to increase Staff for prompt service and avoid negative reviews:)

The property and vibe of Udai Kothi are undoubtedly amazing. The architecture and ambiance are top-notch, and the area around the hotel is equally vibrant and lively. It truly has the potential to offer a premium experience.
However, the service was deeply disappointing and pathetic. Right from the check-in process, it was clear that there was a shortage of staff, leading to significant mismanagement. Despite handing over the keys at reception for room cleaning, it was not done, seemingly due to miscommunication between reception and housekeeping.
The breakfast buffet was good, but for dinner, the options were extremely limited to Chinese and pizza/pasta, as the chef was reportedly on leave. The food ordered were delayed, only 2-3 waiters were available. This was quite unexpected for a property of this caliber.
At checkout, there was no proper bill envelope provided, as the receptionist claimed they had run out. Additionally, he did not have any visiting cards, which felt unprofessional considering the high rates charged for staying here.
While the property is stunning, it’s disappointing to see such lapses in basic service standards. With such a beautiful hotel, it’s crucial to ensure the service matches the premium price point.

I had a wonderful stay at Udai Kothi, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a charming blend of traditional Rajasthani architecture and modern comforts.
A special mention to the team for upgrading me to a suite room instead of the premium room I had booked. The suite was spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered a fantastic view, making my stay even more memorable. The rooftop pool and the overall ambiance of the property added to the experience, creating a perfect mix of relaxation and luxury.
The staff was courteous and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is also excellent, close to the major attractions yet peaceful enough for a relaxing retreat.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be regarding the breakfast’while it was decent, it could have had more variety and better quality to match the overall excellence of the hotel.
Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would definitely choose Udai Kothi again on my next visit to Udaipur!

Please note that cabs do not go till this hotel as the lanes in old city are narrow. You will have to walk/ take an auto from parking around 600meters away from the hotel. This is a big deterrent factor but if ur on a moped/ 2 wheeler then you can easily and economically commute from this hotel. The staff that is there is good but I constantly felt that they are under staffed and that impacts the service which is highly expected when u pay so much for the hotel.

The property is centrally located and the staff is quite helpful and polite. However, it certainly lacks attention to detail, our room was fairly average for the price paid. The curtain had a tear, the lobby had damp smell, the pool was decent. The breakfast was fairly average. Considering it’s a boutique hotel which is beautifully marketed on its social media one would expect more, but I don’t think it was worth the amount that we paid.
