Stayed 2 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Within walking distance to the Ghats (about 15 min longer if you get distracted by the amazing culture ) tuk tuk a little quicker at around 100Rp, rickshaw same time 30 Rp.

This hotel is old older but very clean and comfortable. The staff are really helpful, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and it's only a 5 minute cyclo ride down to the Ghats. Very happy with this place. It had a restaurant which serves great food.

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at Dolphin. They offered us the parking space too and that was really convenient. We were happy with the reception and service quality. Rooms were clean and hot water available.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hospitality by all the staff was excellent.Our last night we had drinks on the roof top with music and some really good food. Just like to say thank you for an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for three nights. The good points are that the staff are helpful enough. They accommodated small requests without a fuss e.g. We asked for a kettle for the room to make tea and they gave us one. The wifi in the room is very good. The room also had air con and a fan and was well furnished. The kitchen was clean as my husband asked to see it after we got food poisoning in a previous hotel. Unfortunately the list of points for improvement is longer. There is only hot water sporadically and we never had any in the mornings. Every night we were there the electricity would come on and cut out repeatedly. Every morning we stayed someone was knocking on our door at 8am. We never found out what they wanted as we were getting dressed and told them to come back later but they never did! The hotel also seemed to have a dog in it and there was barking in the hallway going on for about an hour on our second night there until we phoned reception to ask them if there was a dog (they said they would send someone to check it out and the barking did stop, but it was back the next evening!). The sheets and towels were clean but stained and old. The pillows themselves were so dirty I wouldn't sleep on them. We asked for them to be changed but were brought an equally filthy pair. Finally the breakfast was terrible. It was an Indian style buffet and everything was very spicy. They offered us cornflakes the next day instead and we were given a small bowl with boiling hot milk so it became an inedible mush. Finally our room had loads of mosquitos. I realised that the aircon machine wasn't sealed into the wall and there was a big gap where they could come in. We filled this with toilet paper!
