i am rohit singh December 2016 i went this hotel i got surprised that in Varanasi city this type of hotel . me and my family like very much . the room is so decorated and well furnished.Mr. Anubhav too supportive for me . the food which i ordered is too good. i never eat that type of delicious food in my life. my mother and father liked very much. this trip made me a golden movement of my life.
The first room we were shown into had a bathroom door that would not open; the second the walls were so dirty I had to object; the third was okay. There is evidence that they clean the floors and bathrooms, but why can't they see how dirty the walls are? Filthy handprints around all the switches, spills and marks all over the walls, windows never cleaned. Very hard bed although the manager did give us an extra bedcover to put underneath us on our third night. Only intermittent hot water. There is a very strong smell in the hotel as they spray the bottom of all the walls with strong mosquito spray. Unfortunately you cannot open the windows because of the monkeys outside. However the restaurant was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also quite good particularly if you want to start your walk along the ghats at the beginning at Assi Ghat. I do think this hotel is overpriced for its quality and the size of the room.
I had a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly. The first night of my stay I attented to an engagement ceremony. It was very good experience and I do thank those who let me watch the ceremony and also many thanks to the groom's father who wanted me to stay and eat with them.
Stayed two nights, there were multiple power outages during our stay, probably because of that AC stopped working just after our arrival and didn't come back untill an hour befour our departure (we complained multiple times about that). No hot water at all (hotel explained that it's because of power outage). Reception called multiple times (starting from 8am) asking whether we want our room cleaned (had to unplug the phone as this was annoying), also all hotel staff asked us same question many times. Don't know why did they want so badly into our room, but it made me suspicious (nothing like this happened in any other hotel in India). Very annoing and loud monkeys outside the hotel (no wonder they have power outages when monkeys occupy their electricity poles), not possible to sleep after 5 am. Wifi wasn't working first day, and second day they changed password, had to ask staff again for password. (Strange again). When leaving we had problem paying by card (terminal somehow disconnected just after I entered my PIN) and it happened 3 times in a row (luckily my card was charged just once) and got no printout about cancelled transaction. Very suspicious place.
Stayed at the Premier Villa hotel during the Dev Dipavali time in November. Very good hotel. Perfect location. The rooms were big and clean, the staff friendly and efficient. The food in their restaurant was also very good and the service was prompt. Would recommend it to all
