The stay was wonderful in this hotel. Room was developed very well by the staff. Staff did their level best to help the guest. Food was prepared in different varieties and served very well by waiter of the restaurant. Its value for money and recommendable property.
Not provided bed sheet to cover, they written WI-FI hotel but wi-fi is working near reception only,no telephone to place order, they provided one towel and 1 soap for 2 persons for 2 days, they not cleaned room during our 45 hrs stay over all hotel service is bad
The hotel is very near to Assi Ghat. It is a good location as there are nearby internet, eateries and tea shops around. The only problem - no lift. You need to climb at least 4 floors if your room is on the rooftop. I was put on the 2nd Floor on the 1st night and on the second night, I was told to move to the rooftop as a big group is coming. I don't see any reason of shifting me to the upper floor. Even with my persistence, I still had to stay on the rooftop. It's a bad experience.

This hotel is in the old city and very close to the river. This is a benefit of staying here. One can walk easily to the ghat. The hotel is clean and the food is very good. I particularly loved the tomato soup. Some rooms are off a terrace, so one can sit outside. My AC was extremely noisy. I had to wear ear plugs. If you are encouraged to shop across the street for clothes be prepared to bargain, as the prices asked are high. I didn't know this and paid far too much. The surrounding area is not clean, very typical Indian. The view from the hotel includes a view of lots of trash. The ghat itself is very busy. Be prepared for beggars and vendors approaching non-stop.
We stayed in this hotel in October, 2018. This hotel is located on Assi ghat, best place to stay in Varanasi hence no difficulty to visit different religious places. The rooms were clean and decor was good. Homely atmosphere, friendly staff and caring owner (Mr. Madan Mohanji ). Food was a little bit expensive but homely and tasty. Special thanks to Madanji who was always there to help . Heartfelt thanks to the hotel once again for making our stay a memorable one and wish all the best for Madan Mohanji and his team. Highly recommended and will like to come back whenever there is a plan to visit Varanasi.
Stayed for two nights, room was super comfortable and clean. There is a roof terrace on which you can observe the sunrise over the River Ganges. Where they will also serve food. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating even sending someone out for a beer as they had none on site. Cannot recommend this hotal highly enough.
when you are a mum of two girls, 8 and 12 and want to go back to your roots so they can see where one half of their personalities come from, you want a place to stay that is safe, clean, has tons of patience, good food.. blah blah blah :). We were 4 women travelling (my mom being the 4th) and from the time i booked (3 months in advance), I 'harrowed' the owner with my questions and requests. While i belong to UP, having being born and brought up in Mumbai, I was, like everyone else, a little 'iffy' about doing an all girls trip with a sr citizen and two daughters up 'North'. Hats off to the staff for their hospitality; for making me a detailed daily itinerary which included recommendations of where to eat and a well planned trip to optimise travel keeping in mind that I had kids in tow. They even booked us a 'toto' (e-rickshaw) and Biswas or Mouni is someone you must hire to take you around. We watched raavan burn on the crowded streets of Lanka with Mouni watching us like a hawk; people like the ones we met at this hotel, reaffirm our faith in humanity. I was there for 5 days and came back with no complaints Even their cab drivers are fantastic - reasonable, knowledgeable and polite.. with just the right balance of 'friendly' On the last day of our travel, my kids fell ill... the hotel went the extra mile and offered to send for meds (Sunday, most chemists are shut and we needed some meds which we didn't have in our first aid kit). Not only that, they extended check out without making a fuss. and without a charge!! this is busy season.. the location is fab as you get an unfettered view of the assi ghat from the terrace and some of the rooms; food is great; chai is to die for. Place is clean and while the rooms are slightly small, they work well if you don't plan to hang around in your hotel room. Being on assi ghat, we went back to the hotel for afternoon naps and then to sleep at night! there are some great restaurants (including the famous Pizzeria with its apple pie) including hygienic street food and mithai; shopping and of course, the ganga arti is a 2 minute walk away! we wanted a homely feel that goes with benaras and Mr Madan Mohan Pandey along with his staff gave us a trip of a lifetime. We ate at some of the most iconic places; took day long rides in the toto and their hired cab; had chaat, lassi, paan, kachori, from the quaintest and most delicious spots AND above all, did darshan at all the temples seamlessly despite the dushera rush (thanks to the suggestion that we get a really early morning start)... by day 2, all my fears of being in the 'north' were gone! in short, we had a truly memorable trip because of our choice of hotel. so if you are looking to experience benaras in its true, earthy element .. book a room here, get your itinerary planned by the savant owner and YES, ask for Mouni and his toto.. Heartfelt thanks to the hotel once again for their human touch, tehzeeb and mehman-nawazi
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel lovely view of The Ganges from our room, number 34. There was some refurbishment going on but it was low key and didnt disturb us. The room was kept scrupulously clean but remember to leave your key at reception and tell Phillip the manager you want it cleaned. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Yes the WiFi did keep fading in and out but who goes to Varanasi for the WiFi? Mr Phillip the manager was particularly helpful.
