I recently stayed at Indraprastha Resort in Varkala, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. The overall maintenance of the resort is extremely poor, making the stay uncomfortable from start to finish.
1. Cleanliness & Hygiene: The swimming pool seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for months, making it unusable. The rooms were in terrible condition, with cockroaches in the bed, which is completely unacceptable.
2. Amenities: Despite being advertised as having AC and hot water, neither of them worked. The elevator was in a terrible state, making it unreliable and unsafe.
3. Service: There was no proper room service, and the staff seemed indifferent to any complaints. Basic hospitality was missing, making the stay even worse.
4. Food: The food quality was extremely poor, and hygiene standards in the restaurant were questionable. It was far from a pleasant dining experience.
Overall, this resort is not worth the money or the trouble. The lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and basic facilities makes it one of the worst stays I have had. I strongly recommend avoiding this place and looking for better alternatives in Varkala.

Indrprastham beach resort offered an exceptional stay! The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met with a smile.
The in-house restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, while the serene ambiance made it a perfect retreat. Conveniently located near key attractions, it’s an ideal choice for travelers.
Overall, the resort surpassed expectations, combining comfort, quality, and excellent service. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

Appearances are deceptive. If you have found some positive reviews on this resort, I fear if they are either paid reviews or self reviews. Worst experience ever. Bunch of cockroaches are 'living' in there. Restrooms are at their worst. The colourful pictures in the reception are the only things that are well maintained. God knows for what! Dining area smells like restroom. What else should I say?

If there could be a change to give negative rating, I would definitely give it. The resort looks appealing from outside but the rooms are maintained in the worst manner. Most of the things in the room are broken and not fixed like taps, flush etc... there are a huge bunch of cockroaches in the room. One of the worst rooms I have seen in my entire life.

I stayed at this hotel for two days. It's not a resort, kind of 3 star hotel with a small swimming pool. The service was unprofessional, and the staff lacked proper training.
I paid an advance of 5,000 rupees upon booking. However, upon check-in, they demanded full payment upfront. When I requested a brief moment to freshen up before paying, they refused and insisted on immediate payment as a condition for room access.
The next morning, they only provided one towel for two guests. After requesting a second towel, they eventually complied. Thankfully, they provided two dental kits.
The hotel lacked proper maintenance and professional staff. The majority of guests appeared to be college students and bachelors, making it unsuitable for families.
