A nice stay here. A (clean) big room with balcony view of the helipad which is at the top of the bar/restaurant/shop lined pathway leading to the 3 beaches. The helipad acts as a large car park for local tourists at weekends which makes it busy & noisy but the only real downside is the enormous light that shines into the hotel rooms at night. The manager Anil was very helpful on many aspects, as were his staff. The only downside was the breakfast was only traditional food at the weekend when most residents were Indian tourists which was a shame and the breakfast to go when I left to get a train a bit early was not worth having, they'd be better to not provide it. It's more expensive to stay here than other places in Varkala and I'm not sure it's entirely worth it, other places looked good too, although Varkala itself is nice. The main beach is lovely although there's a strong rip so the life guards are on watch constantly. The other 2 beaches aren't so nice & clean, and 1 used more for religious ceremonies so not relaxing either. A nice relaxing place to visit.
