Hotel was good. Only the bathroom was dirty, rest all was fine.

We stayed there, and we would stay there again if we are in Velankanii mostly on next October. We had a Good Room, It was spacious, clean, well decorated, the people working were great, and the price was awesome. We suggest walking far at night no reason to fear. We walked around that area and the which was great! A great central location near Church!!! Highly recommended.

AC was switched off for more than 2 hours for both days from 12 pm to 2 pm due to power failure. Even though the generator was working AC was not functioning.

The hotel room was satisfactory as rooms were clean & tidy. Staff were cooperative but needs to be well organized. Hotel does not have their own kitchen hence food was arranged outside which is quite not good. Hotel maintained their cleanliness within and outside their location. Hotel should deploy more staff for better prospects towards its customers.

Many hotels in velankanni provides good service to customers. But according to me hotel picnic is the best one. Every time I used to stay here only because of their best customer service. I have been getting the same and proper service from the beginning from this hotel. Its a good property to stay at velankanni with in my budget. Rooms are neat clean and also got a new lift. Totally our family feel that we have a second home in velankanni named Hotel picnic. Thank you once again.

The hotel had decent amenities. The room was clean and airconditioned. The toilets were decent and clean. What I don't like...and it's a problem with all Indian hotels is that there is no seperation between shower and rest of the toilet. Otherwise the staff was friendly. The price is decent. Restaurant downstairs with good food.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Such a good place to stay with family and Friends. I strongly recommend to anyone who want to stay with their family. Good customer oriented hotel. Friendly staff and management. Rooms are good. Room service and room cleaning is excellent. We found new lift facility now. Good news to aged people. Thank you

Perfect place for peaceful stay. Everyone needs to refresh their mind in weekends after busy schedule in weekdays. I got selected this hotel for couple of days last weekend. Best hotel in my budget. Good staff, well maintained hotel and cleaning is good. This hotel is customer friendly and support their customers very well. Rooms are well cleaned, great views to the church from the room. We enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend to others.

I was looking for a room for just one day, and the rooms offered by hotel picnic were good enough. AC was working, room was OK, old TV, lifts, parking space in front of hotel, bathroom was clean with hot and cold water facility. Room service was quick and good experience during check in and check out. For payment hotel picnic did not accept debit or credit cards, had to search for ATM's as many were not working.The rooms look very old and the lights are too dim. Best part, very very near to morning star church. And within walkable distance from all churches. Well, they have a Kerala restaurant at the entrance of hotel picnic, but my experience was really really bad, I would recommend sea gate restaurant for lunch/dinner. Don't have high expectations, it's budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Overall, pleasant experience.
