Room service was very poor, had to remind so many times. Quality of room is good but not according to three star standards. Water was coming very slowly in Bath rooms. House keeping was very slow. TV Channels was not clear. While check out the hotel billing also very slow and i have waited for 20 minutes in reception. Overall hotel stay was not pleasant. Don't know how they got 3 star name.
This is a fairly new hotel but really well maintained. I especially liked the interior decoration, it was beautiful. The ambiance was just perfect & i was very much satisfied. The food served met my expectation as well. I would like to come back again.
Room was too small and smell in was so bad that we were unable to stay with rust smell..
Hotel Aavanaa Inn is a very decent hotel according to the Vellore standards. The services and the food options were very fine.

The room was a good size and clean. The art work on the walls were wonderful. I didn't taste food from the hotel. I had visited this hotel for official trip. I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.
-Poor maintenance -shower tap knob did not work, had to fill bucket with slow flow like tap from shower -towels were washed but had dirty stains and odor -no mats in the whole room, neither an extra towel for bathroom foot drying, no face towel - water bottles are chargeable - worth not considering it for its price, please reconsider -hard pillows, poor old bedsheets +only the location +nearby good restaurants
Cons - Small stuffy rooms. No natural light. Seemed like the rooms had not been aired in ages. Overpriced. Pros - But just a few mins away from CMC on foot. Has its own parking space. Couldn't risk taking the rooms here coz of my asthma and my babies who would definitely fall ill in that air :(
The exterior was clean and neat. The lobby was very nice and had an European air about it. The art work on the walls were wonderful. Then we went to the reception desk and all that changed. The man at the front desk acted as if he was doing us a favor for giving us a room. Then we were told that we had to get a pic and go to the police station and report our location because of an attack that happened some where in India. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was clean but you would have to jump around in the shower to get wet. So you have to dip water out of a bucket to take a shower. I think this is unacceptable for the price you pay. The water was hot until about 9pm at night. The a/c work very well. Housekeeping did a good job. The restaurant on the 4th had excellent food. The free breakfast was just ok but the 4th rooftop dinning area is very good.
Pathetic Hotel - please avoid Booked this for one night as its close to CMC and my wife had a post surgery review the next morning Hotel is gloomy and dull and is in urgent need of an overall upgrade Were assigned a horrible room - reeking of stale tobacco smoke (possibly hadn't been aired out in years), bathroom without even toilet rolls and a shower curtain), window airconditioner was broken and dirty and was clearly a model from the 90s Ordered tea, and the cutlery was chipped and stained... asked for replacement cutlery Ordered dinner and some extra plates - food was OK, but plastic plates provided were greasy, scratched and looked like they hadnt been cleaned for ages Left within 2-3 hours of checking in, the manager came out and enquired in the lobby, and even on hearing the reason, just offered some lame excuses. Didnt even attempt to retain us by offering an alternative,,,, least he could have done is at least waive off the 300-400 rs room service bill - imagine a customer who has paid almost 3000, leaving without even staying 3 hours (least you could do is waive off minor expenses as a goodwill measure) The hotel is complacent, enjoying and milking the proximity to CMC in this price range do yourself a favour... look up Hotel Darling Residency (about 1.5 km away) and enjoy a far healthier stay also, if like me you make the mistake of booking , please call cleartip and cancel immediately... in a hurry i forgot... and called cleartrip after 2 days - the hotel refused to refund
