I had the misfortune of staying in this hotel recently. The toilet of the room allotted was not up to the mark and the airconditioning was not functioning properly. When complained at the reception, their MD came and informed that it will incur Rs. 8000-9000.00 for him to repair the A/C in the particular Room.

When I checked in, Only the hotel owner and a bell boy was available in the hotel. They took almost an hour to let me in my room. The services mentioned in the Cleartrip website advertisement were not available. Absolutely no service was available during my whole stay of 4 nights.

I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in the middle of the city and near to the main marketplace. The location is awesome. The rooms are good with centralised air-conditioning and lcd tv screens. Although the furnitures I found little bit old. The wi-fi did not work at the 3rd floor and was only available in the ground floor lobby. The restaurant is not that good. Hotel Meghana provides complimentary breakfast buffet which comprises of both north Indian and south Indian recipes. The room service is excellent and is available for 24hours. The 24hours check-in check-out facility also helps a lot. Overall experience of mine is very good.

Looking at it you would think cheap and nasty but.. Staff couldn't do enough. The rooms were neat and clean with powerful showers and good hot water facilities. Breakfast was good South Indian with tea and toast or an omelette if not.. The position was excellent for the City and the cost pennies for an executive room sleeping three. The only quibble might be that they lost points in to tidying up some of the impact of the monsoon rains, but this didn't effect the standard of care bi as a European woman would happily stay there alone bit was friendly and "professional" but family like.

The hotel was in a good location but away from beaches.the staff were ok .the rooms and bathroom were clean enough.But mostly the occupants are brought by the auto drivers I think there is a deal b/w them any way good hotel worth staying .
