Mr.Sunil Gupta is the owner of this hotel. When I called him first, he said the service apartments are completely booked and there is no vacancy. Then I booked it . I immediately got a confirmation that my room is booked here. The next day I once again contacted the hotel to obtain the confirmation that my room is booked. They said no reservation is available to me at this service apartment. Then I followed-up with help desk for two days. When I paid the amount , I immediately got the confirmation that my room is booked. But when I contacted the help desk , they said such confirmation will come to them from hotel only after 48 hours after the payment is made . So I once again contacted Help desk after 58 hours. To my surprise they said, the rooms at the service apartment are sold out and so they will not be able to provide me accommodation at this service apartment and they are looking for alternatives. I was about to board the flight to go to Vizag and Travel guru is not able to confirm the room, even when the payment was made three days in advance. I had to escalate the matter to Mr. Nelson at Travel Guru. I repeatedly asked Travel guru staff to connect me to their manager and they bluntly refused. Finally Mr. Nelso once again spoke to Mr. Sunil Gupta (Owner of Blue Homes) and confirmed to me that my room is booked at the same hotel (By this time my flight is about to take off !). Overall the experience is with Travel Guru is pretty Bad !! Not sure why they send a confirmation immediately after the payment is made saying that my room is booked, when in fact they know pretty well that the room is not yet booked and it will take 48 hours after the payment is made to obtain confirmation from the hotel. They did not bother to call me after 48 hours after the payment is made to inform me that rooms are sold out and they are looking for alternatives. It is only when I called them after 58 hours after the payment is made, they disclosed the fact that the rooms are sold off and there is no accommodation for me at Vizag. Overall my experience with Travel Guru is pretty bad ! I would suggest prospective customers to look for alternative service providers, who probably will extend better service that Travel Guru. After I reached the service apartments (Blue Homes)at Vizag, they have misplaced the room key which was allocated to me. So they made us to wait for one hour and kept on searching for a duplicate key for that room from hundreds of duplicate keys they have ! After one hour they were able to open the door !! After this visit I felt there is huge scope for service improvement at Travel Guru and also at Blue Homes service apartments.

We went to Vizag on 23rd March, 2016 with family and friends and stayed in New Blue Home, Shivaji Park. It is a service apartment. Rooms were spacious and were clean. But there were some defects in some rooms, like water was staging in the toilet of a room, there was no lock in the sliding glass of an open window of a room. As we spent very less time in room we had no problem. The manager was very helpful. The quality of the foods ordered was very good. Over all it was a nice stay.
It was nice,first of all i got feared due to look of the apartments,it was good and nice bathroom and very clean room and clean hall. But i forgot to take photos but iyts still nice to stay here, Every flor has a guy for taking care of us and food have to order before one hour. Limited time food, better for go outside for lunch or dinner. If your lazy and so hungry get orderd as soon as you can because limited time and limited stocks(i mean if you want lunch after coming from outside, you have to be order first after coming to the room after that you can do other things order food and they will knock your door in an hour. Location was not too bad for me because we have work in university,so i chose this hotel its so near to us. But worst thing is we have order food before an hour that was really disgusting so we bring parcels from outside to eat,morninng coffee and tea was not bad. if you want to staty in a budget go for it,its alright good one for budget. Boy was also not bad,but he is from other state,he speaks fast you have to understand. He was good no problem with him have great Day
Mr.Gupta,the owner arranged us a special room and allowed our 2 pets alongwith us.Thanks Mr. Gupta for the hospitality The staff arranged food in time & responded to our requests properly. Best thing is its very close to NH5.
i stayed in blue homes near sivaji park from 08/09/14-13/09/14 with my friends for a tournament!we are eight in number and booked four AC rooms.We booked through goibibo 50% offer and enjoyed almost a cost free stay!The working of AC ,Tv everything is fine,the room service has to be improved a lot,there is no phone in the room,so if u need something u have to go down and ask at the reception which is irritating.the place is easily accesible with Park infront of it.overall it is a very nice stay if u are a budget traveller!
I booked the room and paid 50% advance. After that due to family issues, I had to cancel the trip and notified them 7 days before the planned travel. However I didnt get a single penny refunded out of my advance paid. So beware of paying advance, pay only if you are 100% surr of your trip
