i travelled to vizag for business purpose. At hotel welcome Grandbay check in was smooth. Lobby was not vey big and i room size is small cmpared to novotel hotel and park hotel where i stayed earlier. I was given room on second floor though i requested for higher floors and room with ocean view but same was not available. Not all the rooms in this hotel are with ocean view so pl. be careful in specifying your requirement if you want room with oceain view. Housekeeping was good, swimming pool nice to use, room service good....Breakfast was nice buffet spread with good choices.Overall nice hotel!!

If one has to ever visit Visakapatnam Andhra Pradesh India undoubtedly the choice of hotel should be Welcomhotel Grand Bay. We attended a conference in Novotel but stayed in Grand Bay. The warmth and efficiency of the entire stsff under the leadership of their GM Mr R Nath is something to be experienced to believe. The room view overlooking the Bay of Bengal makes a beautiful picture. The authentic room decorations with wooden toys, the excellent imaginative bed decorations made out towels shows the interest of their staff. Chirag Choutani their Exec Housekeeping Manager went out of his way to do up the room the bathroom accessories artifacts. Their Asst F&B Manager Pradip Mishra and his able capt Ramana are whom you need to look out for. They personality keep all the local snacks in.thecroom.make you taste them. Ramana service par excellence. Mr Suresh K Front Office Manager has been with the hotel for a very long time and in his quiet efficient way ensures seamless check in check out. The coffee shop chef during breakfast looks after the guests very well. The best cutting chai you can ever have and the local Araku filter coffee. All hotels in the vicinity face the ocean no doubt but what one enjoys and appreciates in the Grandbay is their warmth and how they make the guests feel special. Excellent looking after. The demeanour of R Nath the GM will.definitely beckon us to go back. Thank you Rajesh Nath for making this trip very.memorable for all the 8 of us. Chirag thank you for packing our bags so well and doing everything possible for us. One of the best Exec Housekeeping Manager I have encountered. So humble

Bang on the beach road the hotel is a beautiful property inside out. The atrium gives a sense of open spaces and the restaurant has a decent spread for bfast and dinner. A helpful and attentive staff. Rooms are good. A definite choice if you're in vizag for a short or even a long stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with a grand lobby and quaint rooms. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and overall top notch. The room was adequate, however, I am sensitive to mold and mildew. I stayed here for almost a week and went home very sick. While I did like the older style hotel and the staff was excellent, I would not be able to stay at this hotel again due to the mold/mildew issues.

Raju Yadav and team ensured a last minute accommodation, even though there was an error in the booking. The service was extremely courteous and professional. Food is good and the views are amazing. A must visit place for Business or Leisure alike!

This is a lovely hotel with a staff that is second to no one. Mr.Mishra the manager runs a very efficient staff that are happy to help with anything. No request is too small or too difficult. Special note for Pravanjan in the Exec. Lounge, Prakash in the restaurant and Vandana, lobby hostess. All the staff is always smiling and asking if anything is needed. The restaurants are very good and the chefs come out to ask if you are happy with the meal. Thank you and I'll be back next visit. Excellent, comfortable and well maintained. To Mr Mishra: A staff always reflects the manager's commitment to quality. You are excellent. Your staff respects you and you are the example of how a hotelier should run a hotel. Thank you for your leadership. One area for improvement is that the WiFi can be unstable which can be annoying but a minor issue
