The property is located at a very scenic location. Everything here faces the lake which is the plus point of staying here. There is a small road behind the resort which leads to the lake. You can go there and spend some quiet time. Rooms when we went were very clean. Bathroom too was clean with gas geyser for hot water. Food here is on the expensive side. Portion size too is not that big. There are good places to eat that are 15-20 mins away from here. You should visit this place if you are not planning to do much sight seeing but want to spend some quality time with family and friends. There are enough activities you can do at the resort. Breakfast is good. No complaints there. Non vegetarians have an option of omlette.
We have got an awesome experience with the stay , it have a scenic beauty , place is calm and quiet , also best place to have a relaxed holiday .The food was best including the complimentary break fast . Other facilities like pool , play area etc are good .
This is a beautiful property at a very beautiful location. Views are mesmerising. Rooms are large enough and clean. Rooms have all the basic facilities except internet. They serve decent north Indian food which was quite surprising to me. Only thing they lack a bit at is service. There were times during our stay where they served cold food and didn't do anything about it even on complaining. They kept saying internet in room would be fixed soon but it never did.
Overall, the stay at Silver Green was a very pleasant experience. We stayed there for 2 nights. We had booked a wooden cottage. The inside was quite cozy. It was a bit separated from the other rooms so was impervious to noise from other guests. Though, the view, I feel is more clear from some of the other rooms like Honeymoon Suite, etc. All rooms overlook the banasura dam catchment area and that is a sight one shouldnt miss. The food was good in general. Dinner is prepared specifically for you. Since only the guests staying at the resort have food there, you need to order it well in advance say ~6pm, since they have to prepare as per your order. Apart from this, the food served was really nice. We also peeked inside the kitchen and were quite satisfied with the cleanliness levels. Breakfast spread was pretty decent. There was idly/dosa, poori/battura, chana/baji, bread toast, omlette, fresh juice, coffee/tea. I had requested them if they could make puttu as part of buffet breakfast the following day, but I guess, owing to staff limitations, they could not prepare it. The infinity pool is the biggest highlight. We spent more than an hour in the pool, on both the days. The pool is maintained well and again the view from the pool is breathtaking. My daughter had a good time in the childrens play area as well. In our experience, the staff was quite courteous and responsive. Mr.Vijayakumar from the front office was very cordial and made us feel very much at home. He made sure that we had everything that was wanted while at the restaurant as well as in the room. The front office madam that we interacted (forgot her name) was very cordial and helped us much in planning our site visits. Mr.Basil, the marketing person was accommodative of our requests (eg: extending the same room for next day, etc) in every way possible. Whatever they could not, they explained to their best capacity the limitations they were facing (eg: wifi was not working, since some tree fell on the cables about 10 kms away). Mr.Anish was in charge of overseeing our food related requests. We wanted to see how the different rooms in the resort looked like and the security uncle was quite patient in opening each and every room and spending time with us.
The resort is located near Bonasura dam, bit away from other sight seeing locations of Wayanad like Muthanga, Kuruva islands, etc. We stayed in silver green resorts as a group of 29 in 10 rooms. We checked in in the evening of 13th of Jan and checked out on 15th morning. Welcome drink was served as soon as we reached which was refreshing. They have one wood house room and others are normal rooms. All of the rooms have balconies facing Bonasura dam. The view is awesome. They also have a swimming pool at the top which is an infinity pool. All the rooms are very neat and toilets are tidy. Hot water was available. All toliteries were available. Rooms are spacious with separate dressing area. Storage spaces are enough. Small fridge was available in the room. Staff were very courteous. They helped to plan our sight seeing. Supervisor Basil was very helpful and each guest was taken care of well. Food was normal. We selected customised menu for dinner which was a bit confusing for them. Otherwise they have regular buffet dinner. Breakfast was fine. They guided us for morning walk with routes. it would have been more helpful if someone accompanied us. Morning walk to the sides of bonasura dam was worth to feel the beauty of the place. Overall it was a good experience. Recommended if you like to feel the nature in silence.
