Yes, Samudra is very close to the central railway station, at a reasonable rate, though that's about it. No issues with the staff or WIFI, but rooms are basic, and hygiene leaves something to be desired -- stained bedclothes, a perambulating insect in the morning, etc. It will do the job, just.

This hotel is near the chennai Central railway station(a walkable distance of 200m). The Manager is very helpful and decent. The room were clean and cost was so less as compare to the facilities. A plus point is that the north and east food is available near by. It's A best experience at chennai.

This place is few hundred meters from Chennai Central Railway station. Hotel and rooms r good, but the location is filthy n unhygienic. I avoid this place simply bcz of the above reason. Nothing more to say about this place.

Rooms are good for the price. It's very near by central railway station if you want the room for day use they will provide the room for minimal price. Rooms are small but value for money . Only bad thing happened was room was having cockroaches. Other than that everything is good. Staffs are good . The hotel have a travel desk so if you like to go out of station they will provide you car.its good for budget people coming for one night stay.
