Hotel Bhimas Deluxe ( Next to Railway Station)

This review is about the restaurant. Food is mediocre but very expensive. Better options available compared to this. Service is slow and serves wrong orders. The ambience is old style. For the name it carries, it should live up to it, but it fails to. Parking available. Might not visit again.

The hotel is very close to the railway station and Sri Govindraju temple. It is an old hotel but rooms are well kept. Reception experience was not pleasent. The receptionist received us with a very unpleasant frown. Despite the web booking, they were not able to fetch the records and had I to wait and push our way. They have to seriously undertake pest control as the rooms and toilets are invested with cockroaches. The travel desk person Mr Ravi was very pleasent and good. For the rate charged by the hotel the service was average...

The restaurant offers a very clean and well-maintained ambience, with a newly renovated, air-conditioned space that provides a comfortable dining experience. The South Indian Thali is authentic and flavorful, making it a great choice for those who enjoy traditional cuisine. While the exterior may not be very appealing, don’t let that deter you’the restaurant inside is neat, inviting, and a perfect place to sit and enjoy a satisfying meal.

I booked accommodation at this hotel (Bhimas) through Agoda.com, mistakenly believing it was the well-known "Bhimas Residency Hotels Private Limited." It was only after reaching the premises that I realized the name was deceptively similar, causing confusion. My experience at this property was very disappointing: 1. *Reception and Service:* The receptionist was absent upon arrival. Only a bellboy was present, repeatedly assuring that the receptionist would arrive shortly, causing unnecessary delays. 2. *Room Cleanliness:* The bed sheets were dirty and unfit for use. No towel or soap was provided in the room, which is a basic requirement even in modest hotels. 3. *Uncooperative Staff:* When I requested a Xerox copy of a document, the receptionist flatly refused without providing any reason or alternative assistance. 4. *Driver Accommodation:* They declined any accommodation or arrangement for my driver. Typically, even smaller hotels provide basic staff quarters or at least allow drivers to rest within their premises. 5. *Food Quality:* The food was of poor quality’extremely oily and tasted as though old or reused oil was being utilized. I strongly recommend the Food Safety Department conduct an immediate surprise inspection of this hotel’s kitchen to check hygiene, raw materials, and overall food quality. 6. *Licensing and Compliance:* Given these concerns, I suggest that the appropriate licensing authorities conduct a thorough review before granting further operational extensions or renewals for this establishment. I intend to communicate these issues directly and in greater detail to the concerned authorities soon. Regarding Agoda.com, I strongly urge them to clearly differentiate between hotels with similar-sounding names. Innocent customers unknowingly make bookings and payments due to this confusion. Additionally, the Registrar of Trademarks should proactively review and regulate establishments using deceptively similar names, ensuring transparency and protecting consumers.

Hotel is Very Good for Family Stay. Hotel is in Good Location. Restaurant Serive also good. Laundry service also available. But, the Price is little Bit higher side. Also, customer service has to be improved in all departments.
